Breathe.
We’ve been doing a LOT these ten days (and we’re just getting started), so let’s breathe and then hit today’s MP3, shall we?
Breathe again. It feels so good. Man… setting aside time for that every day could change the world, huh? Let’s do that!
Today’s work: Breathe. Purposefully. Fully. Then go back through these ten days using the framework and note the days that need more of your attention, ranked from most challenging to least. Keep adding future days to the graphic with this same (most challenging to least) criteria. You’ll start to find that it’s “all the money stuff” or “so much mindset” or “being consistent with any of it” that’s feeling like the biggest challenge. And that specificity will serve you.
Because if you’re tempted to do less of the work when it all just feels like too much, this itemization will allow you the freedom of circling back on something that’s ranked low on the “challenging” list so at least you get something done every day. And when you see that pattern taking shape — the one that clarifies which types of things always feel challenging to you — you’ll know this: Without getting these particular issues cleared up, you’ll miss out on living your next-tier life to its fullest.
It doesn’t mean you have to dig in on those gnarliest things right away. But it does mean you’ll bust free of limits when you do. Why not try a bit of it while supported so fully, as you are here and now?
Breathe.
You may call this day a rest day, time to relax, a breather… but the truth of it is, this is an important day of reflecting on what you’ve accomplished, honestly assessing what needs to change, and getting clear on where you’re feeling the most challenged by the work we’re doing… all the while congratulating yourself for what you’ve already shifted. (Because you have already shifted things. Very much so. Just by being here you have shifted things. Feel GREAT about that.)
How’s your self-talk? Are you feeling more like a leader? Have you begun building your show bible? Are you prepaving next-tier behavior? Is your brand awareness improving? Are you enjoying the freakin’ journey?!?
Take time today to ask yourself how you want your life at the next tier to feel. Find ways to build in some of those feelings even now. Breathe them in. You’re a creative. You’re a storyteller. You can make these feelings feel REALLY REAL, even right now, before they are. Why wait?
Congratulate yourself for showing up for yourself today and every day. This is not small work.
