It’s time to tackle the September calendar so here we go!

As always, we’ll cover what the numerology of the days mean, what the moon’s move through the signs tell us, and of course how all this plays out in your favor in the most intriguing and powerful ways!

I hope you all are having a beautiful aligned session all about September right now and I’m so sorry to miss it but I’m on my way to the Homecoming Concert on the Great Lawn in Central Park to see Paul Simon!!! I listened to a bootlegged cassette tape copy of Simon and Garfunkel’s Concert in the Park in 1981 as a young girl and dreamed of coming to New York City. When I heard he was on the amazing lineup I got chills and felt this full circle feeling move through me so I invested in MYSELF and bought as an early birthday present, a VIP ticket to this concert (because I’m a VIP right? Right. 😉 Paul Simon’s music was the soundtrack of my childhood and I couldn’t think of a better gift for myself and I just wanted to say hi, and share that with y’all and to say I miss you all too, and will catch up on the replay. Much love from a person learning to value herself, and who’s about to see The Only Living Boy in Boy in New York LIVE. <3 <3 <3

You guuuyyyys we all got evacuated smack in the middle of Barry Manilow’s “Cant Smile Without You” because of serious wind/lightning and rain from approaching Henri. It was 7:30pm. 🙁 I waited under an apartment awning across the street with a nice couple from Nebraska who were also hopeful it might resume, but it just didn’t. I never got to see Paul Simon, or Springsteen, the Killers, Elvis Costello, so many other who were still to come. I walked to the train, soaking wet and crying a bit tbh, as this was probably my last chance to see him as he has retired from performing/touring for the most part. Believe me, I am grateful for all the talented artists I did get to see before we all got told to move to the exits, but yeah. I am a sad sad today. 🙁
Also: I better be getting my money back! Or at least half of it. I looked on the ticket website when I was buying my regular VIP ticket and the GOLD and PLATINUM VIP tickets ran north of $4,600!!! I mean, mine wasn’t near that, but regardless, we did NOT get what we paid for. But, I am glad I invested in myself as it exercise that much needed muscle in me. sigh.

What a wonderful opportunity to enjoy the vibe of the investment you made, know that you are enough, and release that GETTING TO EXPERIENCE THE THING was anything more than bonus points, since the work of the investing was and is the work! 🙂
And yes, you’ll certainly get something back I would imagine and your sadness is so reasonable!! 🙂 Just focus as much as you can on the beautiful gift you gave yourself and how wonderful it felt and feels to know you are worth such investments. That will help release any snag in getting your partial refund.
BON: I did exactly as you suggested, and focused on how grateful I was to see the wonderful talented musicians I did on Saturday, how glad I was that I gave myself this gift, and my phone alarm I had set, also on your suggestion a few weeks ago, that says “Everything is always working out for me”, and I check my email today and what do I see but an email with a subject line that read: “You have a refund from Ticketmaster LLC” and whaddya know it’s for the FULL amount, $453. So, today, I’m even more grateful, buoyant, happy and thinkin about what’s next. And why? Because everything is always working out for me, (with or without the wonderful Paul Simon). 🙂

i also find that depending on the natal chart we use, i’m either moving from virgo/1st house to pisces/7th OR from 2nd house to 8th. right now, it’s all kinda making sense, though to be honest 8th house confuses me & i don’t exactly feel like 2nd house money has been my thang… still, i’m sure there’s some kind of money journey here for me, too.
and, i looked up Marc. his north node is in capricorn/1st house (also where his sun, jupiter & mercury live). i love that our journeys are switching houses (his is 7th to 1st; mine is 1st to 7th). it makes me excited for the leadership i know he’s going to step into & find.
meanwhile, i’m remaining mindful of leaning into trust outside of myself. ooooo, that’s a dilly, but i totally dig it!

Also, yes on the houses changing based on the house system you’re using (they do for me too). There was NO DOUBT that mine is more 12th to 6th once the big health situation of 2018 happened. Far less an 11th to 5th journey, although I can always use more FUN in my life. 😉 Ha ha!

Couple questions. I know the South Node is gonna pull energy from the planets near it (for me Sun and to a lesser extent Venus). I’m sure remediation will help with that (which I’m already focusing on for Venus, Jupiter and the Sun) but I’m really curious about the Sun *not only* being so close to my South node, but the fact that that makes it oppose my North Node, *especially* since my North Node is in Leo… which is ruled by the Sun. Lot of incestuous back and forth there. So, is Sun-centric remediation still the key? Does that just mean I need to put waaaay more energy into Sun/North Node stuff?
I’m getting way more comfortable appreciating and leaning into my 3rd House Leo North Node (minus any emotional astro going on), but am I correct in thinking all this just means there’s gonna be a lot more push and pull in the comfort? A schizophrenic “No, I don’t want the spotlight!” “Look at ME!!” dichotomy?
And when it comes to the 3rd house, does that literally mean social networks like social media, or the social networks we create in real life, not just with technology (which I assume would be Aquarius stuff)?
On a side note, I really like the idea of (for me, “fuck it” attitude) focusing on the South Node to North Node journey as a clear, clean, simple way to lean into your life’s path and letting everything else (numerology, minor astro, big astro, Big 3, MC, 10th house, etc, etc) fill in the gaps and be the pit stops and roadside attractions on that journey.
Here’s where I’d start: Open an app you love to use like Astro Gold or Time Passages or Time Nomad or the paid Chani app — anything that lets you click on a natal aspect and then it pops up a summary of what that means. I’d open up each of the conjunctions and each of the oppositions and I’d also open up any squares, trines, and sextiles to the nodes, because ALL OF THAT factors in. When we’re dealing with natal ASPECTS, it’s tempting to come at them as if they’re each in a vacuum, but they’re not. They’re ALL happening.
I’d almost create a point system for certain keywords and if you’re using an app like the paid Time Passages, you can even look at your list of natal aspects listed from STRONG to WEAK. Give them points! And then you’ll learn what the whole soup is, and decide where the remediation focus needs to go to make that soup seasoned the way you like it.
As for the dichotomy, yeah. There’s a lot of that for all of us with North Node/South Node energy. I just did a *gulp* multi-thousands of dollars coaching session to reparent some of my South Node shit (also 12th House shit, so way PLUS-EXTRA, conjunct [by sign] Pluto just for the fun of the Tower card, FFS). It’s big and it’s the work and I think doing the remediation and just being AWARE of it before you’re facing the next big Nodal Return at age 46 will do a lot to make your work not as extreme as it could be.
Okay, so 3rd vs. 11th for technology and social networks works like this for me (and I’ve heard a lot of different interpretations on this, so I’m not saying mine is RIGHT; it’s right for ME): 3rd House is very close friends, siblings, cousins, short-distance travel, and your personal technology (intimate use) like your phone and other gadgets (and therefore the social networks you create and connect to in intimate ways using those tools). It’s also musicality and movement and all the Mercury stuff. 11th House is the community at large, social groups, associations, organizations, committees, your audience beyond the 10th House, networking in the business sense, and technology as in SYSTEMS. Think about the 3rd House for a cell phone and the 11th House for the stock exchange and the computers that run air traffic control and such (although broad air travel itself is 9th House, of course).
Probably as technology was first evolving as we know it today (gadgets and such), it was all placed in the 11th, but remember that TECHNOLOGY is actually anything that creates CHANGE to the way things are done. Money is technology. First feathers and rocks, then bits of gold, then coins, then paper, then plastic, and now bitcoin, etc. Cars are technology. So is the wheel. 😉 You get the point. It’s only when we started bringing our PERSONAL technology into the way more intimate and private spaces that some of it shifted into the 3rd House. That we use our tech to connect with “3rd House people” in our lives more easily is what puts a lot of it there for me. But the internet as a whole? That’s 11th (with a side of 9th) and of course we use it to do 3rd House things (and nowadays, also 5th House things, 12th House things… OMG, so many things).
Glad you like seeing the SN/NN journey as the big arc of the board game that is the game of LIFE and all the rest of the stuff placed all through that world. I’m still connecting in new ways with my North Node and this summer has been FILLED with expansion and ascension in some magical ways. Still in progress. Still integrating. Still learning. 🙂
This is all very helpful, thank you. Just in relooking at my chart I can see that Jupiter, Saturn and AC are all in favorable angles to my NN and Chiron is squared. So that’s already good intel there.
Half way through the replay and I just noticed that my South to North node journey is the opposite of Bon’s (I’m going from Pisces to Virgo). Not sure what to do with that awareness, but knowing is half the battle, right?!? (and it’s fun to see patterns, et al)

Ooooooh… I’m just gonna drop this link right here. (This is about “the book that predicted 2020” years before. Some info about the next 5 years and transits we have to look forward to.)
Doing a bit of catch up work and wow this piece is eye popping. And as an aside, the way they describe the planets’ aspects and the different relations to each other (sextile, trine, etc) really helped me understand more about the energies that manifest as a result of those aspects, in real time in our lives here on earth, as a practical visual:
“At the semi-square, there will be “growth issues,” and at the sextile, things will start to take form. The tension of the square brings conflicts about the direction to proceed, and the trine resolves this tension. After the high point of the opposition, a decline sets in, following the same path in reverse of alternating tension and harmony until a kind of “malaise” sets in at the final semi-square, and the old decays to make fertile ground for the new. Thus, every cycle tells a story.”
And then omg THIS made me feel just so….enough and perfectly complete and very much “what if there’s nothing to fix”: “because this long view teaches us that we live our lives in cycles of expansion and contraction, of progress and retreat, of light and dark. Each side of the duality defines and reinforces the other, making life magical, dramatic, and whole.”

Thanks Bonnie! I find the Nodes so interesting given that they are mathematical points rather than an energy or gravitational force. I’m a little in awe of how accurate mine is. I’m Gemini North Node (at 3 degrees) in the 1st house so Sagittarius South Node in the 7th. I have a lot of pondering to do on the meaning and realities of my journey story.
Ooh, nodal modality sister! 😉 I’m 3 degrees Pisces NN; Virgo SN so our nodes are exact squares. 😉 Love it!
