Amelia Rico is an award-winning actor, screenwriter, and filmmaker. She is a proud advocate for female and minority filmmakers, female-driven works, and diverse casting. As a filmmaker, she strives to provide new female and minority artists with as many opportunities in front of and behind the camera as possible. Her multi-media production company, Ricornel Productions, has produced films that have appeared at the DTLA Film Festival, San Antonio Film Festival, International Christian Film and Music Festival, and Houston Latino Film Festival. Her feature screenplay, ZomBFFs, was a finalist at the DTLA Film Festival and World Series of Screenwriting and was most recently selected by the Houston Comedy Film Festival. As an actor, she has been seen in Rich Kids on Netflix, Yellowstone on Paramount, Walker on CW, and will appear in her first guest star role as Mary Ann in Grey’s Anatomy this month.
