A. Jay, a Los Angeles native, grew up surrounded by creative energy. Her father, an architect, and mother, a painter, nurtured her passion for the arts early on. A. Jay was destined to develop her own artistry and thrive with a career in photography. In high school, A. Jay discovered a passion for street photography, which ignited years of exploring LA’s many geographical, cultural, and social offerings, capturing them with her camera to share with the world. Her passion grew into expertise in college, where she expanded and deepened her knowledge of several photography formats and fields, culminating in a certificate in commercial photography from College of the Canyons. After college, her career exploded, as she landed contracts with the Los Angeles Clippers and freelanced for the LA Mission while gaining experience shooting headshots at Netflix, Hulu, and NBC. Her repertoire includes event photography for the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles and other nonprofit organizations. A. Jay lives by a motto: With passion, purpose, and gratitude, anything is possible. Living this motto has led her to great achievements, as she continues to grow and strive for even greater heights.
