Fab call, you beautiful people! So happy to share our anniversary with you. Thank you! 😀
Here are some things to read, do, think about, etc., as we move forward on the topic of thriving in a bi-market creative career!
The piece I wrote on having healthy relationships: So Happy Together.
The piece I wrote on growing a small business — specifically how to bring on a team and have them take on some of the “smaller” tasks that probably fill your day right now.
The show I mentioned as being one of the inspiring ones on restructuring a business and delegating: Restaurant Impossible. Others are Tabitha Takes Over, The Profit, and Bar Rescue, just to start. There are so many! 😉
Remember to start OPEN. Think about what success in another market looks like to you. Think about how you’d define success in managing TWO markets and keeping your existing relationship and business healthy. What does your “I won the lottery and can go back and forth as I please, when I please” vision look like?
What of those pieces could be a part of your RIGHT NOW? This is especially important if you’re not used to imagining that there *are* some things that could be a part of your “wildest dreams, OMG, it’s all fab” life to which you already have access, today. (For example, my occasional upgrade to first class after a long, exhausting trip in which I had some really good growth with my business. At nearly-43, that’s the kind of gift that’s worth a hundred bucks or so, sometimes. And it makes me realize I’m closer to my bi-coastal career dreams than I may have thought. SOMETIMES.)
Now you. Share. 😀
Thankee, beautiful people! XO
