Hello you beautiful people and welcome to Aligned Advantage for April!

I’m so excited to go on this deep dive of each month’s calendar together using the power of the woo-woo tools my momma taught me. ๐
Hooray!
It’s time to tackle the April calendar so here we go!
PLANNING NOTE: Our Zoom at 11:30am PDT on April 21st (at this Zoom link) will be about May’s magic. Until then, it’s all about April.
As always, we’ll cover what the numerology of the days mean, what the moon’s move through the signs tell us, and of course how all this plays out in your favor in the most intriguing and powerful ways!
During the Zoom, I’ll take questions about how all of this relates to trends you’re tracking in your OWN chart — be sure to bring your chart (render it at a site like Astro.com) — and we’ll talk about how the woo of the month aligns with YOU!
We’ll also dive in on those two pages that go with our Annual Profections work (a deeper look at what we covered in this weekend's webinar — replay below) and a whole deck of by-Rising sign Annual Profections RULERSHIP guides. I'll also be sharing the latter on my Chart Harmony Instagram soon, if you'd like to help get those shared with woo-curious friends who could use the resource. Thank you!
Please feel free to ask questions in the comments area below and while some will be best-suited for our live Zoom, certainly I’ll do what I can to help explain some of how I make the calendar work for me in the comments before and after our Zooms.

If you need support materials for interpreting the various notations on this calendar, head back over to your Aligned Advantage Welcome page, where I have stored some goodies for you!
And now… the replay of our live Zoom session about the April calendar and all its juicy goodness! Enjoy!
If you are hankerin’ for a “You in the Stars” custom BOOK (take a peek at the gorgeousness here), get in the queue for your very own PDF here and if you want the physical book TOO, place your order at this page. Yay!
If you’d like to book a one-on-one with me for some all-about-you woo, head over here. Woo HOO!
Questions? Keep ’em comin’! I love these discussions SO MUCH and really enjoy sharing all this learning with you.
Y’all, thank you for joining me here. I’m so proud to be the astrologer’s daughter and I know Charlsie is loving all this growth. ๐
All my love,
Our *next* monthly LIVE interactive Aligned Advantage meeting is happening at this Zoom link at 11:30am PDT on Thursday, April 21st (translate that to your time zone here.
You are welcome to go on camera for this Q&A session, or simply unmute yourself to participate live audio-only. Yes, we will be recording the meeting and putting its replay up (along with the *next* calendar) in next month’s page for you to consume. Hooray!
If it’s possible that you’ve never Zoomed before, for sure we recommend you get all set up *before* our meeting. Zoom is free, and there’s info on how to get going here.
And of course, any questions for me, pop ’em in below! Woo HOO!
Such a great class!
I was fascinated by the discussion about Jupiter in Pisces and the relationship to excessive eating.
I’m wondering if there’s any tie-in with eating disorders and certain chart placements.
Definitely, there’s a whole line of astrology that focuses on how we eat. Generally, we look to the 6th house for how we eat (since 6th house is daily activities, health and hygiene, wellness and illness, as well as our co-workers/employees in our jobby-job and of course pets). There are other houses that also show up on us physically. The 1st house is one to look at too.
I took a course from Kira Sutherland last year on how we eat, astrologically. https://www.astrologyofhealth.com/courses I’ve actually taken a few classes from Kira, both live/interactive and on-demand. She meanders a bit and that can get annoying if she never resolves a tangent, but her medical astrology knowledge is solid.
I’m also reading Body Astrology right now and it is AHMAYZING. The author — Claire Gallagher — has a site with support info, and I think you can access it even without proof of purchase of the book. https://www.clairegallagher.co/bodyastro But the book is so so good.
Jupiter in general is where we can be BIGGEST. So, if it’s in a sign like Pisces (which has no boundaries, because “What is time?!?”), that can mean a grand appetite with no awareness of when “enough” is reached. Jupiter in the 1st house = a BIG personality. People will NOT forget those of us with 1st house Jupiter, no matter what the sign is.
So so so many layers!!
Fascinating!
Thanks for those links – I saw you mention Body Astrology on ig and it caught my eye.
might need to make that required reading.
Jupiter is in Pisces on my chart – in the 7th tho.
very interesting stuff.
So, BIG LOVE. Jupiter in the 7H = partnerships are expansive and necessary for you to have the most growth possible! ๐ Yay, glitter! Yay, no limits!
Had to bow out before the end of the call, but wanted to throw in my current understanding & make sure I’m on the right track (and gain any additional insights I may be missing).
I *just* entered an 8th House profection. My 8th House is Cancer, which is ruled by the Moon and my natal moon is in 2nd House Capricorn which is ruled by Saturn. I have no other luminaries in 2nd House Cap, so no “ruler’s helpers”.
Based on this and key words, my focus for my 43rd year (which is also a prime number and makes my inner math nerd happy!) is:
What/Planet – Moon: Intuition, nurturing
How/Sign – Cancer: well-prepared Grandma; tenacious
Where/House – 8th: money issues (other people’s $), shadow work/secrets
The medicine is:
What/Planet – Saturn: structure & rules; minimalizing
How/Sign – Capricorn: Do the work; take charge
Where/House – 2nd: values/stuff/money (my $)
Are these accurate?
And if so, can you help me understand what an 8th House-Cancer-Moon year might look?
And what 2nd House-Capricorn-Saturn remediation might look like?
THANKS! (I love that I feel like I’m on the precipice of understanding!!)
More than precipice, baby! You’ve got this!! I’m so proud of you, working it all out like that. ๐ Yay!
Okay, so we start by looking at the difference between the 8H and 2H “money” topic, since they definitely have that in common. 8H is other people’s money, loans, investments, inheritances, and also non-money stuff like the occult, transitions from life to death, and sex/sexuality. 2H is earned income, valuables, our “stuff,” enoughness, and our core values/what’s important to us.
So, in an 8H profection year with the Moon as your ruler, and that ruler being in the 2H, you’re going to want to tap into your intuition, go with your gut, pay attention to signals you’re getting at the cellular level… and especially look at ways your VALUES can be supported when it comes to your relationship with NON-earned revenue.
That’s one example! ๐ Love this, Kimberly. Such good work!
I missed the free webinar and the live AA meeting but I am v curious about my profection year. I am in my 1H profection year at age 36. Can you provide more insight on my current profection year and how the medicine will help me. I’m super curious how this impacts how I show up in my business, relationships and finances.
Okay, so a 1H profection year for you (Virgo Rising) means your ruler for this age of life is Mercury. Because you’re in a 1H year, that means focus on your YOUness, your physical body, your personality, how you come across in the world, all that good stuff!
Mercury, the ruler for this age, is in the 12H for you, which is Leo. So, 12H issues include mental health, institutions, confinement or systems of limitation, ancestral stories, spirituality, religion, and magic. Mercury is all about communication and how we think and how we believe and how we talk and write about what we think and believe… so the “medicine” for your 1H profection year is to write it out, whether you end up sharing it or not (because Leo is in the 12H, it’s likely you will go public with what you write about, but maybe not necessarily this year).
You’ve got both Mars and Venus as helpers this year, so that’s a lot of energy around passion, motivation, taking action (Mars) as well as romance, money, and enoughness (Venus). I would imagine if you’re able to write about mental health issues that folks might face when not being honest with themselves about their relationship with money (to think about your business, specifically), or about how to stay motivated to build systems around your financial picture, especially if you tie any of that to healing ancestral money stories, you, personally, will benefit greatly from creating those things for your clients.
There are other keywords for all of these, of course, so this is just some of the options for how that 12H Mercury in Leo will show up as the medicine to help you through this 1H Virgo year! ๐
Remember to look back to age 24 for the last time you were in this cycle. See if there are signs there for how the energy shows up for you, or at least how it did then. Excited to hear how this resonates with you!
Hi Bonnie –
My friend is a colon cancer survivor – she has high estrogen levels (and long story) she has consulted her naturopath, oncologist, and plastic surgeon about getting a breast reduction and fat transfer… and possible tummy tuck in the future – they all said this might help , and gave her a green light – until she found out she has a gene thing that puts her at risk of blood clotting. ANYWAY – If she decides on the surgery, she wanted to know if April 25 would be a good day? – I told her I would pose the question here but it’s out of my wheelhouse. In general – when is the best time for elective surgery – what planets would you want to be in condition? I think i heard you would want to avoid having surgery on a full moon? and told her not to schedule on the eclipse of course! – but is a waning moon better than waxing? I realize this is a big question – maybe you would want her to schedule an appointment with you? she doesn’t need a birth chart reading, but does need guidance on this and picking a date.
Aw, bless her heart, Dana. That’s a lot. Certainly, you can point her toward a session with me if you’d like, but I’m also happy to share my tools for scheduling health-related procedures that we have some measure of control over.
I always look at this surgery column on Astro-Seek: https://mooncalendar.astro-seek.com (make sure to set the timezone above the photo of the current moon’s phase). Their electional astrology calculator is good too: https://horoscopes.astro-seek.com/electional-astrology-election-chart-online-calculator
In general, eclipses (as you know) and also full moons and new moons are to be avoided for anything surgical. Kira Sutherland says the 8th House is a big player for surgery, so I’d look at any current/upcoming transits to planets there, in the natal chart. Actually, she has some content that I’d recommend for anyone facing health issues. Here’s her library: https://www.astrologyofhealth.com
Oh, wow, she even has an elective surgery on-demand course: https://kirasutherland.simplero.com/products/140294-Elective-Lunar-Surgery
That’s where I’d start, were I facing such a decision. We have the advantage of EVERYTHING direct right now (through the end of April, when Pluto goes retrograde), so that’s good news. Sending good vibes to your client!
My 4th house protection year
4th house in Pisces โ Pisces ruled by Jupiter (My natal moon is in Pisces – so I guess thatโs my helper?)
Natal Jupiter in Sagittarius in 1st house (Sagittarius ruled by Jupiter)
What: Jupiter โ luck & abundance
How: Pisces โ mysticism & intuition
Where: 4th house โ family of origin and home
Medicine
What: Jupiter โ luck & abundance
How: Sagittarius โ higher learning, growth
Where: 1st house โ self/ego
Bonnie, just wondering if learning Reiki and connecting with my soul and intuition seems appropriate choices to support me and my growth this year.
Close!
4th house profection year, 4th house in Pisces, Pisces ruled by Jupiter… that is all correct.
Natal Jupiter is in Sagittarius in the 1st house, so anything else IN THE 1ST HOUSE is the helper energy.
You have listed that your natal Moon is a helper. It’s not, because it’s not in the 1st house. Does that make sense? It’s activated, of course, but the helpers are the planets in the same house as the ruler of the profected house. If any.
As for learning Reiki, I think that’s always a great idea, if it’s a modality that calms you and intrigues you! I trained in Reiki as a kid and loved the experience. ๐
For sure, with your Jupiter medicine and the magic that Pisces always brings to any situation being the focus this year, and with Sagittarius loving to learn, this could be really well aligned. BONUS POINTS if you can rewrite some family stories while you’re learning… or learn it with family members!
You’re doing great, April.
Interesting.
I take on that Bonus Challenge in this way:
1) my dad was fascinated by and I believe wanted to be a healer in some way so I call him in to support me with my Reiki practice (he literally blew into the room when I got attuned)
2) Iโm putting in the work to shift from my triggered reactions to specific family members (which have been really intense this month) to creating energetic boundaries and shifting the patterns of the past (keeping their toxicity at a distance rather than hooking into it and stretching to being grounded in their presence).
My helper natal planets in the 1st house are Neptune, Mars, and Venus.
Since Mars and Neptune are conjunct Jupiter, do they have even stronger influences than Venus?
Mars is the planet of fighting and f*#@ing and starting things. Instead of just sitting quietly by as my aunt gets involved where she doesnโt belong, I angrily confronted her and I basically told her to butt out in front of the entire family when she attempted to do something completely inappropriate. Standing up for myself has made me feel like Iโm taking back my power. The result is that she and her sister seem to no longer want to speak to me, but I recognize that I donโt need their critical, judgey, impatient, and uncompassionate energy in my life anyways.
Neptune is the planet of illusion and deception and is known as the actor planet. Iโm looking to uncover anything underhanded my aunt may be doing. And Iโm choosing to recommit to my daily practice of imagination for my acting class. Iโm hoping that my acting can help me heal.
Venus is the planet of love, money, and values. Being in the 1st house, Iโve been upping my self-love practices to help support me emotionally. Iโm also getting clear on my values (see Mars above). And Iโm stepping into being more responsible with my money and looking for work to bring in money.
If I look at combining all 3 planets together as helpers, I could say that creating a vehicle for myself as an actor that represents my values (my mission) could bring about some healing for me. (And maybe attract the money to make it happen?)
Hopefully, Iโm not over complicating this. With astrology, Iโm not quite clear how far to go with some of this and if Iโm making a mountain out of a mole hill in my interpretation.
For next month, Iโd like to schedule a headshot photo shoot. Iโm looking at Thursday, May 26th for the following reasons:
1) Thursday is Jupiter day and Jupiter is my ruling planet for this profection year and also for my natal chart and is also my major benefic
2) itโs numerologically a 1 day โ great for new beginnings and planting seeds
3) waning crescent moon โ intuition, visionaries who see beyond the immediate future, deep connection to spirit (the lunar phase support is where Iโm a little fuzzy)
4) itโs an Aries moon โ good for starting things, getting things (like my career) off the ground
5) the moon sextiles Saturn at 25 degrees Aries โ thatโs a positive aspect between moon and Saturn (emotions & structure) Saturn and moon can support each other for me emotionally in my photo shoot (again, this piece is a bit fuzzy) however I have a bunch of natal planets in the 3rd decan as well: my moon is at 27 degrees in Pisces, Venus is 23 degrees in sag, Pluto is 29 degrees in Virgo, MC is 25 degrees in Virgo (which is the exact same degrees as Aries)
6) my natal Aries is in my 5th house using whole signs โ 5th house being creativity, playfulness, passion
Those are all the things I looked at that seems to confirm this being a great choice for me for my photo shoot. Iโm doing a lot of prep for it โ my essence, roles I could play, wardrobe, photographer style that meshes with what Iโm looking for, etc โ and would like to use astrology as additional support.
Bonnie, does my research appear to support this as an opportune date for my photo shoot? Thanks!
To me, it feels like a LOT of layers and things start to get a little murky when we pile on so many things. It’s a bit like finger painting and each new color you add onto the page turns the resulting image into something that’s sort of an icky grey-brown. We lose all the bright colors we individually used, because we piled ’em on one another.
So, I’d start with this kind of criteria:
~ Is my chart ruler supported? (Like, is it that planet’s DAY of the week?)
~ Are my Big 3 (the occupants of my Life-Car) supported? (Like, is one of their signs the sign the moon is currently in?)
~ Is the numerology aligned with the energy I want to bring into the shoot?
And then beyond that, I’d just ask my gut how it’s all feeling! ๐
Keep it simple. Anything we spend TOO much energy planning and strategizing results in a finished product that has the energy of planning and strategizing, rather than the fun and the flow and the ease and the enoughness we WANT the finished product to have.
Excited for you!
Oh, and for sure, I’d be certain Venus is involved, since that’s our loveliest look. ๐ Leo moon for great hair. Those are really winning combos (Venus day or a good Venus transit under a Leo moon… especially on an 8 day)!!
Just finished helping someone on We Audition run lines for an audition. The Project was called Horrorscope and her scenes were giving readings and talking about astrology. It was nice to get to flex those muscles and explain to her what she was saying. Happy Jupiter conjunct Neptune, everyone!
Ha! That’s so awesome, Sarah!
