Awesome! Here ya go, Kellye: You were born a 5 (joy, fun, play, rebellion) numerologically. Your chart ruler is Mars, your Sun’s ruler is Mercury, and your Moon’s ruler is the Sun. This means you have a fiery, active, driven pace that can get whipped up by the busy brain of Mercury and make it all about the here and now/self/experienced life (Sun’s focus/ego). You have a night chart. And you were born on Mars’ day during Saturn’s hour. Those two malefics managing that energy there mean all the more reason to lean into the 5 numerology and do everything you can to invite in the benefics and the Moon. So, for me, that’d be doing remediation on Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays to really welcome in those softer energies so the combo of harshness and heat doesn’t cause burnout. 🙂

Let me add — to the instructions I gave to Jonté re: Jupiter timing and noticing whether it’s been a particular [INSERT SIGN] kind of year — that beyond looking at “that year” as having been a [INSERT SIGN] kind of year, we can also look at WHAT HOUSE that was happening in our lives.
To get specific — if Jonté wanted to look at Jupiter in 1997, as I mentioned in the meeting (around 1-hour 35-minutes in), he could notice that Jupiter was in Aquarius that whole year, pretty much (there’s a couple o’ weeks January 1997 when it’s finishing off its time in Capricorn, but close enough so let’s stick with that random year I chose just for funsies).
He could further look at his Whole Sign chart and notice that Aquarius is his 12th house. This would mean that all of 1997, Jupiter was expanding issues that are very Aquarius in nature (tech, community, idyllic society, utopian goals for the collective, revolutionary energy toward a greater good) in his 12th house (mental health, shadows, escape, fantasy, breaking free of imprisonment, institutions, any oppressive systems).
So, I’d imagine that was a pretty big year for some revolutionary changes — if not HAPPENING then definitely COMING TO LIGHT — thanks to Jupiter’s transit through that part of Jonté’s chart.
Feel free to share your example of something similar — tracking your chart ruler’s transits through a sign and a house of yours to get the hang of this technique. 🙂 I’ll help walk you through it.

During the Zoom — talking about Astrology for Creatives — I talked about closing off access to the curriculum space July 31st and offering ongoing access as a separate thing starting in August. Um, no. Dang, Mercury. Doing the most.
The course is open for those in the inaugural class from July 5th to August 31st. AFTER that, we’ll offer ongoing access and monthly deep-dive/masterminds/hot-seats IF there’s momentum/interest and that feels good to us after this inaugural experience. So, at the END of August, there’ll be a chance to stay in as a member. At least that’s what we’re planning.

You’ve got it, Toni! You were born a 5 (joy, fun, play, rebellion) numerologically. Your chart ruler is Venus, your Sun’s ruler is Jupiter, and your Moon’s ruler is Mercury. So, that’s two benefics and one that “goes both ways”. 😉 We haven’t talked about how Mercury is “bi” but that’s not surprising since it’s so mutable, of course! You have a night chart. And you were born on the Sun’s day during Mars’ hour. I love that this means you have a lot of HEAT around your birth. The 5 numerology has always felt like fire to me as well, if I had to assign an element to it. It’s also very expansive, like Jupiter, your Sun’s ruler. So what I see that might be out of balance for you is structure and intuition (that’d be Saturn and the Moon). Since you have neither of those in your “stack,” you may want to do a little remediation on Saturdays and Mondays to call in the order and the gut instinct, respectively. 🙂 <3

That’s a busy brain, active thoughts, fast paced moves… and then this intuitive, EVEN FASTER, sensitive critter up in there shining its light… and then all the values and beauty driving your emotional body. You have a night chart. And you were born on Saturn’s day during the Moon’s hour. I also have a Sun ruled by the Moon and was born on Saturn’s day so the way I play that is the structure of the Saturday gives me a skeleton to hang my intuition and empathy on. NEEDED!! And for you, especially with Moon hour and all that Mercury, Saturn really helps scaffold some otherwise frenetic energy. Not so much GROUNDING energy but CHILLING energy. Then the 6 numerology does the grounding part. 🙂 <3 UPDATED with the correct Moon ruler (Venus) and while I still like this advice around settling down the speed of Mercury and the Moon in your data stack, now for sure there’s also all this love and beauty and values and money energy swirling through. Question for my moon, since it is ruled by Taurus wouldn't my Moon's ruler be Venus instead of Mercury? I was curious to know how that energy would mix with the Mercury & Moon energy on the road trip.
Also, I just went through this crisis the week before my birthday because I couldn't figure it out, but I believe I technically was born on Sunday considering time zones. I almost thought I had another natal alignment that way with my birthday this year ending up on a Saturday. But since I was born in the wee hours of the Sunday morning in the Netherlands, it would still be considered Saturday in the states. It's all confusing because then it goes into the blurred lines of my birthday actually being July 2nd if we go by that standard, which I know is not the case but that's how dizzy my mind gets.
Time zones always trip me up though so I could still be confused haha.
Either way, thanks for taking the time to break all of us down this way. It's fun to see it all come together, esp when recognizing how much I've learned over the past year.
Okay, yup. I totally got that wrong. Dang! Thank you for catching that and saying so. I’ve updated the above. Your Moon is ruled by Venus. YES. What that means is that your back-seat driver is going, “Ooh! Look at that! Can we stop there for pictures? Can we go over there to buy fresh fruit from that farmer’s pick-up truck on the side of the road?” and way more into the journey for the EXPERIENCE than the “we’ve gotta get there” energy. That’s lovely!
As for the time zones thing, astrology always considers WHERE you were born and its LOCAL time as the info for your birthdate and time of birth. So, we look at the planetary day of the week (which changes at SUNRISE, local time) and that means you were born on Saturn’s day, even though you were born in the wee hours Sunday morning. That’s not because of the US vs. Netherlands factor; it’s because until sunrise in the Netherlands, it was still Saturn’s day there. 🙂 Lemmeknow if that makes sense.

Ooooh, thank you for clarifying that! I did not know that was the determining point so that’s good to know! As someone with unconventional sleeping patterns, basing the new day on the sunrise makes much more sense to me anyways.

I heard about a woman giving birth on a plane in the middle of the ocean & my immediate thought was, “but what about the birth chart??” Like how is that baby gonna figure out it’s coordinates?? Lol, stressful in multiple facets of the word.
RIGHT?!? OMG!! That’s an amazing question for the flight manifest and satellite logs. Because we KNOW there’s exact, precision info avail… but what a freakin’ moving target!!

You’ve got it, lovely! You were born a 4 (hard work, seriousness, structure) numerologically. Your chart ruler is Jupiter, and so is your Sun’s ruler AND your Moon’s ruler. Triple Jupiter! It’s as though it added glitter to itself and then did it again!! Doubly so!! 🙂 So, even though you have that 4 (which creates almost a Capricorn vibe), there is SO much joviality with the Jupiter influence that the work ethic may surprise people (pleasantly). You have a day chart. And you were born on the Moon’s day during the Sun’s hour. That means you are sourced by BOTH the luminaries. How absolutely lovely! I feel like with this combo of goodness you don’t have a ton of remediation work to do. But perhaps you could use days like Tuesday (Mars) and Saturday (Saturn) to practice a little containment/structure/discipline/focus when all the expansiveness and brightness of the triple Jupiter and double luminary seem “too much”. <3
So my birthday is next weekend & it’s wild to see a quite few of the transits conjuncting my natal planets.
Venus just moved into Leo, Mercury has been in Gemini, & the day of my birthday the moon will be in Taurus – all of which are in their home signs for me. This is the first time I’ve had this much aligned natally during my soalr return so it is interesting to see! Personally, I currently feel the most authentic version of myself that I’ve ever experienced so to me it feels like a reuniting of the self. <3
Anyways, just wanted to share that nerding out w my fellow astro peeps – hope cancer season is treating yall well.
Oh how cool! You’re entering a big year or so, astrologically, with a profection that’s pretty significant, a nodal event that’s a biggie for a lot of folks, and once you’re out of that for a bit there’s your Saturn return in a couple o’ years!! I love that you have so much aligned with your natal chart right now. That doesn’t happen all that often and, of course, the WHOLE of our natal combination never ever ever happens again. Amazing, right?
Yes, I’ve been aware of that coming! I believe you mentioned before about that back-to-back bam with the nodal reverse & the saturn return happening consequentially so I’ve been mentally preparing for it haha. I like to optimistically think that all the EC & astro work over the years will make this time less rocky!
Oh, totally!! As someone who’s going through nodal stuff, Chiron return, crazy Pluto transits, etc., I can tell you that the awareness that it’s what the PLANETS have going on (rather than having “HOW did I get myself into this mess” energy about it all) really helps. It feels… grounding, somehow.
Just spent part of the last Saturn hour playing Dr. Mario – in honor of Saturn’s love of patterns & symmetry (and strategy?).

Follow up. In reading through people’s data stacks it seems like most of the ideal remediation would be focused on what’s missing in the chart instead of addressing a major player in it. So, I should focus less on “dealing with” Saturn on Saturday and more on the relaxing, good vibes of Venus, Jupiter and maybe the Sun? I think that’s what you were implying in the video but want to make sure I’m understanding it correctly. And now that I think about it, those seem to be the 3 days that I have zero connection to and are always a struggle when doing any remediation.
It can go either way, honestly. For some of us, we don’t feel at home with our dominant planet, so doing more things to connect with it could be the medicine. For others, the dominant planet is SO much a player that doing anything more with it would create a full-on overload. 😉
Just knowing you personally, outside of the woo, I’d encourage you to put more focus on how you can invite in exactly the types of energies you mention, with Venus, Jupiter, and the Sun. Expansive, easy-going, bright, helpful… be in a place of receiving those gifts vs. focusing on the structure and order of Saturn and those more brain-based tasks and rhythms of Mercury.
If you don’t feel so connected with those three planets on their DAYS, how do you do when you connect with their HOURS? Anything different?
Okay. Thanks. I’ll pay more attention to those hours moving forward, because while the days don’t feel fully aligned, I’m sure if I were to look back at the last month or so the hours probably are. I definitely need more fun and am *good* with structure and brain-based tasks of things.
Big same. I actually just wrote at the top of one of my whiteboards in big, block letters: WHAT NEXT FUN because I soooooooo need to remember to just pick the next fun thing in the micro. Continuing to check in with my list and my stack of shit to do and my upholder brain… these things are not sparking joy.
I know the work for me is to move into my North Node (more on that in a future month in here, sooner in Astrology for Creatives of course), but maaaaaan, my South Node really does not want that to happen. Nor does 50 years of momentum in this lifetime. (A quick glance at your chart tells me this North Node stuff may be a factor for you as well. Ask yourself how you can do more Leo things. Even if you winced when you just read that. ESPECIALLY if you cursed at me under your breath about it.)

I didn’t wince at it! In fact from the research I’ve already done the last few months on the North Node and MY placement of it I know it’s an area of… concern… for me, especially it opposing my MC, which is why I want to learn about it NOW. But really, more Leo…. ugh, if I gotta (which I know I do… so maybe less a wince and more a knowing eye roll).
I just gotta say, Jupiter in Pisces direct was a fucking amazing time for me. I can’t wait for 2022. The moment it went retro I felt a weird shift and it immediately started off some less than stellar things only a few days later (the day after our zoom, in fact – ie, not getting a role for the most bullseye show ever which I auditioned for the previous week, my car getting totaled through no fault of my own – both within a few days of each other). I’m trying to remind myself that Jupiter is STILL in Pisces, but that shift from outward expansion to inward…. immediately felt it. God help me when it finally gets into Aquarius at the end of the month. Even more reason to remediate.

Take a look back at when Jupiter was in Aquarius for the unfinished business this retrograde will be wrapping up (and then know that as it shifts out of retrograde, that’ll feel different yet again).
Jupiter in Aquarius dates: December 20, 2020 – May 13, 2021. What needs revisiting, especially with an internal focus, from that range of dates? And yes, remediate your ass off. (I sure am!)

My mind is blown (again) by the content. What you said about having a sun and moon pairing being good for collaboration very much explains my biz partner/bestie and I! He is Sag Sun and I’m Sag Moon and had no idea why we always felt compelled to collaborate. Thank you for this nugget of wisdom!

Absolutely, m’love. And since I’m batting something like .600, I’m gonna just go ahead and double check all of yours before I put it in here. LOL

This means you have an active, quick brain with the optimism for a big reach and the structure to be able to make shit happen on exactly that grand a scale. You have a day chart. I’d say that tracks. I don’t see a TON of need for remediation for balance with this, because that seriousness of Saturn and the 4 are going to level out the swirl of activity that is Mercury + the Moon. Invite in more Jupiter just for the fun of it all.

Thanks for this! When Roma visited WI a few weeks back I drove her around the old ‘hood. We both had a moment of Whoa! when I drove down the street I lived on from age 2-5….Mercury Lane. And she also reminded me I dated a guy in college named Hermes. Add that to my Mercury hour birth and chart rulership and it seems that Mercury keeps showing up in my life in a LOT of places.

Because you have no Jupiter or Saturn energy in these, I’d try to do a little bit of remediation to connect with those energies and also the Moon itself. Regarding Saturn being my bad guy and bones/joints/structure…. I’m over here like. Yikes. Of course! I’ve been plagued by dance injuries my whole career, the worst ones being fissures and stress fractures in my shin… They didn’t fully heal until sometime around my 21st birthday, which was also around the time I got a tattoo of a planet with a ring. At the time I wasn’t thinking it was Saturn, but now I’m pretty sure the Universe wanted some remediation and energy/sacrifice from me. Ever since I’ve had a much clearer connection with dance, myself, and teaching!
