Desirée Mee Jung is an Asian-American actress born Kim Mee Jung in Seoul, South Korea. Adopted at the age of two by an energetic Sicilian mother and structured German father, she grew up in the suburbs of Denver, Colorado, producing her own musicals for family and friends, playing the viola and every sport imaginable. Originally planning to become a reconstructive surgeon, it was taking four science classes at once in high school that made her realize a longing and love for the arts. As a thrill-seeker with a tendency for solid ground, Desirée took on a double major in acting and business. After going to school year-round, she graduated summa cum laude from the University of Northern Colorado. As an addicted traveler, Desirée has hiked Ayers Rock in Australia and Fox Glacier in New Zealand, white water rafted down the Colorado River and Shotover River in New Zealand, and gone SCUBA diving on the Great Barrier Reef. Her favorite place in the world is on a rock on the edge of Lake Wakatipu in Queenstown, New Zealand, that overlooks the majestic Remarkables Mountain Range. Desirée is a CrossFit enthusiast and holds a 1st Dan Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do. She happily calls Los Angeles home after living in Denver, New York City, Cape Cod, and Brisbane, Australia. When she’s not on set or memorizing lines, you can find her at CrossFit, watching her favorite procedural or political drama, hiking, or cheering on her favorite sports teams. GO, BRONCOS!

Yes Desiree, the enoughness from Bonnie – she always is coming up with new ways or ways I’ve forgotten to beef my enoughness. Loved your interview especially talking about leadership and owning it as well as the money. Oh boy I never have anyone to talk to about money in general – I haven’t sought it because I’ve been self directed it was much better when my husband was alive now I just have a bunch of fear about money. I’ve been choosing not to face it but if I want to face it I think I could with you. You seem kind, I’m not ready yet just toe in the water.
LOVED the artist as a sailboat, yes we are nimble, we are quick!
Des will be here for you when you’re ready to go beyond the toe in the water, Judy. 🙂 So glad you enjoyed our chat!
Yes Judy I AM HERE whenever it feels aligned. It would be an HONOR to speak with you. xoxo
