Hello you beautiful people and welcome to Aligned Advantage for June!

I’m so excited to go on this deep dive of each month’s calendar together using the power of the woo-woo tools my momma taught me. 😉
Hooray!
It’s time to tackle the June calendar so here we go!
NOTE: Our Zoom on June 22nd will be about July’s magic. Scroll down to get registered to be a part of that *next* session! ’til then, it’s all about June.
As always, we’ll cover what the numerology of the days mean, what the moon’s move through the signs tell us, and of course how all this plays out in your favor in the most intriguing and powerful ways! During the Zoom, I’ll take questions about how all of this relates to trends you’re tracking in your OWN chart — be sure to bring your chart (render it at a site like Astro.com) — and we’ll talk about how the woo of the month aligns with YOU!
Please feel free to ask questions in the comments area below and while some will be best-suited for our live Zoom, certainly I’ll do what I can to help explain some of how I make the calendar work for me in the comments before and after our Zooms.

If you need support materials for interpreting the various notations on this calendar, head back over to your Aligned Advantage Welcome page, where I have stored all sorts of goodies for you!
And now… the replay of our live Zoom session about the June calendar and all its juicy goodness! Enjoy!
Here’s more info about the Alice Sparkly Kat webinar with Kirah Tabourn re: their book Postcolonial Astrology. Here’s Jessica Lanyadoo’s book on Astrology for Real Relationships.
Here’s Kirah’s HOUSES graphic we used during the meeting. And here’s the PLANETARY HOURS guide we worked with.
I’d love to continue to brainstorm ideas around how to honor the 7 traditional planets and luminaries in the comments below! I’ll start off each of them and y’all use the REPLY function for us to discuss and “yes, and…” one another and stay inspired to connect more deeply with these planets we ALL have unique relationships with and lessons from.
If you are hankerin’ for a “You in the Stars” report or if you’d like to book a one-on-one with me for more woo, all the info on these offerings is here. Woo HOO!
Questions? Keep ’em comin’! I love these discussions SO MUCH and really enjoy sharing all this learning with you.
Y’all, thank you for joining me in this exciting woo-woo venture! I’m so proud to be the astrologer’s daughter and I know Charlsie is so happy to see this happening right now. 🙂
All my love,
Wanna join us for our next monthly LIVE interactive Aligned Advantage meeting? Register here ASAP! Our next meeting will take place via Zoom on Tuesday, June 22nd, at 11:30am PDT. Translate that to your time zone here.

And of course, any questions for me, pop ’em in below! Woo HOO!
only when (i know it’s summit time) you have a moment, i’d like some help calculating my planetary day & hour at the time of my birth. these are the results i found. (pasted below)
when i look at the planetary hours chart, i can’t reconcile…
if sunrise on that Monday was at 6:13am & i look at mondays–then i was born somewhere in the 8th or 9th hour (1:06pm), i think. looking at the chart, that would be the moon or saturn hour. then again, i would think my day ruler is the moon (born on a monday).
the calculation below says my day ruler is venus & hour is mars.
sooooo! obviously i’m not looking at this properly!
hmmmmm…
thank you in advance & if you want to table this to next month, i totally understand!!

Planetary Hours
Ruler of Day: R Venus
Ruler of Hour: T Mars
12:01:00 – 13:10:59 Hour of Mars
Good for activities that require muscular exertion, boldness, courage and active enterprise, when your feelings are in check. Caution is needed if you are angry or stressed, and especially if a relationship is involved, for Mars can be confrontational.
Attributes: Increase (be careful what you ask for, you will get it in LARGE measure!) good luck, gambling, speculation, merciful, long distance travel.
Sunrise: 06:13 (-0.8° alt.)
Sunset: 20:08 (-0.8° alt.)
Oooh I’m so bored!!! Is it OK if I take a crack at this if Bonnie doesn’t have time before the summit ends, and I’ll show my work and leave it for her to check?
I mean, I have a lot of things to do but lockdown NYC style is not the friend of this Sagittarius/Gemini- fueled explorer! (and no we aren’t in lockdown but masks give me claustrophobia and all the stores in the nanbe still require as do subways, and MOST of mt friends who had said they would get together once vaxxed have reneged and said they still feel afraid, so *I* am still socially isolated and locked down).
oh my goodness! yaaaaassss! please!!!
you are most kind, Denise!
& i’m so sorry for the mask claustrophobia. what a heartache, darlin’, for your spirit!
I will give it a crack this week!
Yeah, and it’s really long-standing, I tried to take fencing a few years ago and couldn’t do it because I can’t do the helmet. I was also given, with all love and I assumed I would enjoy it, a steam facial gift certificate for my wedding prep in 2004. Nope. Also can’t snorkel. I hope things change so we don’t have to move but if the new normal in NYC is more like today than 2019 a year from now, next stop Nashvile.
Born on moon’s day (because it’s after sunrise on a Monday) and born in what I feel would be closer to the 6th hour of the day, seeing as this time of year we’d be in ~70 minute long planetary hours. 6th planetary hour on moon’s day would be Venus hour. I’ll put your info in my app to be sure, but eyeballing this using the chart I linked on this page, that’s what I’d go with. 🙂
thank you so much, Bonnie!
that’s what i calculated. not sure what the calculator i was using was doing…
anyhoo–it makes so much more sense for who i am so i know you are correct!!
I CANNOT believe that I missed the sess today…I guess retrograde shade is real. (a warning for me perhaps). I reminded and reminded and reminded myself and lo and behold I forgot. Really was looking forward to seeing everyone! F$%k! CAn’t wait to see the magic that happened today. Something I look forward to on a regular! Always so amazing. xoxo
Ideas for aligning with the SUN (Sunday) energy:
Ideas for aligning with the MOON (Monday) energy:
soakin’ in the bath day!
Dancing in the moonlight! Or creating your own silvery light and still dancing in it! I also love using jasmine oil on Monday to heighten moon vibes.
Beautiful. All of these. Thank you!
Ideas for aligning with the MARS (Tuesday) energy:
I have been gong nuts tying to organize my workouts and decide to do which dance classes which days, snd Tuesday is going to be my Hip-Hop day. I have serious mask issues but also post-veneers, manic teeth-protection issues, and I am wondering if I might be able to sort of negotiate that space to take some stage combat at Gleason’s.
Ha! I was not the first to respond to this? I’m late. Lol :). Anyways, Mars likes candles. And not the fake battery-powered ones. Real fire baby.
Wearing red, doing push-ups, getting out into the sunshine! Going to a carnival and driving bumper cars!
Ideas for aligning with the MERCURY (Wednesday) energy:
I block Wednesday afternoons to write content.
Ooh that’s yummy, Marie!
Calling a friend, singing, writing, editing 🙂
Schedule office hours for Wednesday so the students can talk to you.
Yesssssss. Ooh, that’s good, Ivett!
Just discovered that I knocked out a marketing newsletter for my thrival job in half the time I normally do; looked it up and sure enough it was right in the middle of a Mercury hour!
LOVE it!
Ideas for aligning with the JUPITER (Thursday) energy:
Oh I love Jupiter!
Play with feeling lucky. In Harry Potter, Harry gets a vial of luck, and he pretends to slip some into Ron’s tea. Because Ron *thinks* he’s lucky, he actually is (with some help from Hermione). And when Harry finally does drink the luck potion, he is open and buoyant and follows his intuition.
Ideas for aligning with the VENUS (Friday) energy:
I had a moment where I realized that not all things for the same for all people. I had started thinking maybe I should do ballet on Saturdays instead of Friday, because of the exacting discipline and conformity, and then I realized, noooo, for some, yes, who feel restricted or hemmed in by ballet but must study it for some career-reason, but I think it is lo9velt, I love the line of my leg and I love how my foot wings, I feel like a goddess when I fall behind in the jumps because my strong legs spring my light body higher and longer than everyone, I love being last woman standing on the ball of one foot. Whern I did Checetti (sp?) ballet that was very ritualized and routined and felt like SATURDAY but for me when I anm edxploting how deep can these plies go (my Venus is in Scorpio), how beautiful can I mnake this line, how can I move in tandem with the music, that’;s Venus FOR ME. FOR ME tap is more aligned with Saturday because maybe it is free for some but for me that’s when I set the metronome and see at what tempo can I do a triple-time step X times without missing a beat.
But I can also see where if there was a week where I just needed to explore how artistic I could make, say, arm choreography in tandem with footwork in tap, and there was something in ballet I just wanted to drill, that woulkd be a good week to do tap Friday and ballet Saturday.
Saturn LOVES tap. Very orderly, precise, and built on structure.
Thanks!!
I LOVE getting roses or wearing rose oil on Venus’ day.
Taking long walks by the river, being in nature.
Ideas for aligning with the SATURN (Saturday) energy:
Sorry everyone but we are in Gemini season and I have Gemini moon and I am probably going to post like 30 times.
I have the honeycomb calendar and I have a little synesthesia and something I started doing was to take a yellow pen and make a cirle on all the Sundays, take a pencil and make a gray square each Monday, a red circle each Tuesday…Friday gets a square with two diagonal halves, pink and green. For my weird brain, once I get the colors everything else piggy-backs.
I also realized I have problems with being seen (Sun), when I try to argue or stick up for myself I am often misunderstood (Mars in Aquarius) and my Venus in Scorpiogets needs love. Guess what colors are not in my wardrobe even though I look good in them? Yellow, green, and red! So I went on ThredUp and I have some tops getting sent to me in those colors. And I still honor my sustainability ethos as while it is mostly “fast fashion”, these are secondhand clothes.
These are great shares & insights – I’ve started using different colored pens, but I like the idea of shading the actual calendar days, as well!
Isn’t that yummy?
Saturday is usually when I play D&D with friends which is interesting because it is very rules-based, dealing with dice and numbers, teamwork and strategy.
PERFECT Saturn’s day activity!
Also sorry but my Saturday reply was meant as a general comment, and I haven’t done this in so long I took a minute to realize that I wasn’t leaving a new one but adding to Saturday suggestyions. And can’t figure out how to delete or move. Mercury retroshade?
YES for the Jupiter glitter!!!!
I keep getting all kinds of answers for my planetary hour from a bunch of different calculators online for both myself and my husband because we were both born before sunrise so technically it’s the day before our birthday but still different sites are giving me different answers. If I go by Planethours.net I am calculating U was born in Jupiter hour (May 23, 1982 5am which is actually the 23rd hour of May 22nd) and my husband was born in Saturn hour (Jan. 08, 1980 6:16am which is actually the 23rd hour of Jan. 7th). Is it something that we were both born on a 23rd hour? lol
Also, I’ve calculated that because of the placement of my moon which is sandwiched between The Sun and Mercury (in Retrograde) that I have moved away from my emotions being about the self and ego and moved towards my emotions being more communicative, day to day, perceptive and rational. And can I assume that because all of these signs are in Gemini but my Sun is in 1st house and my moon and Mercury are in 2nd house, that I speak and show my emotions out loud in a chatty, quick paced way and that they are often tied to things I value, my money, income and survival needs?
My poor husband’s moon is very closely sandwiched by the maleficent planets as well. His moon is leaving Mars going towards Saturn in Virgo in his 9th house. So he used to feel impulsively and decisively and has moved to a more minimalist, rule based emotional mindset in a cautiously GSD, being of service way tied to spirituality, study, travel and beliefs.
Hate that I missed this, that week was crazy for me! But so grateful for the replay and being able to stop and start and take my time understanding! 😀
I think during our next Zoom, I’ll pop everyone into my Astro Gold app and showcase the planetary day/hour during which everyone was born info on my share-screen. 🙂 This is enough of a question mark for some folks that I think that’ll be a good thing to do during our meeting!
I like your framing for the moon sandwiching thing for both you and the hubs. Especially love your layering on of the houses we’re dealing with, here, for how all this may show up in your daily life. Well done, Amelia! Glad the replay was fun (even though of course we missed you).
Ooooh I’m looking forward to this! I also got a bit mixed up trying to figure out my planetary hour when I was born, I think. Looking forward to our Zoom tomorrow!
Anyone looking to do remediation, Sphere + Sundry is open for its few-days-per-cycle offerings. I must’ve shopped during Jupiter hour because… uh…
This just in: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CroDKlnERaM
O wow. It looks like my moon is sandwiched right smack in the middle of Mars and Saturn. Leaving Mars (angry goth Bex) and heading towards Saturn (peace, love Bex). I am assuming the incredible conflict and push pull of emotions and thoughts within would have something to do with this? Like “Was I too blunt, too nice too blahblahblah” Is there any self care tips within this sandwich? What happens in the second Saturn return?
So, I’d say the self-care for a “separating from Mars; applying to Saturn” situation include enjoying opportunities to be less reactive, less heated, less explosive about things and more minimalist, more structured, more simple yet contained — finding freedom in that simplicity. Letting there be more space around emotions in general. Doing things that feel nurturing in the simplest terms, since Saturn is about the bare minimum, about restrictions, about order, about rules. So, something like creating a SCHEDULE for doing self-care things around emotions — artist dates, journal prompts that happen daily, a time of day that very specific things happen around emotional health. That sort of thing.
The second Saturn return is not as drastic as the first, usually, because the first comes right in line with a 4th house profection year AND a nodal reversal. Those three things all right in a row make the Saturn return feel massive (when actually it’s the last of those three things, finally creating clarity).
Still, a Saturn return is all about “are you living the life you promised you would come here to live, when you chose this moment to be born/this chart to be born with?” and depending on what house it’s in, the lessons and those questions are going to be more aligned to that area of the chart, which is why YOUR Saturn return may feel quite different from someone else whose return is happening at the same time… but in a different house.
Make sense?
Love getting to know your “moon sandwich”!!
