We’re a very small group. ๐ Everyone hot seats. Excited to see you soon, gorgeous!
yayyyyyy!
Quincy, I missed your question about not having any planets in certain houses — that’s fine and normal. It just means that house doesn’t have anything pushing against or pulling for you. It’s neutral.
Like, having Saturn = challenging you to be real about your destiny; Jupiter = luck, abundance, prosperity; that’s a PUSH and a PULL… but having NOTHING just means there’s no planetary push or pull in that particular house. It just IS.
Make sense?
Here’s my chart! ๐

Same as to Kellye, Abby! Can you free up the permissions so it can be seen without a Gmail account? Thank you!
Sorry about that – I thought I had made sure to do that, but I just checked and I think I did it wrong!
Hopefully this works –

That worked! ๐ Got it!
My birth chart–Hopefully this works. I can’t figure out how to send you the pic I took on Instagram!! There’s NO way to send a picture in a DM that I can see on there. gah.

Hmm… that link is asking me to sign in. Can you free up the permissions so it can be seen by those of us without a Gmail account? Thank you!
Just watched this again, and hoooo boy does this explain a LOT. If Saturn is the sand in the oyster, it only took me about 49-50 years to start pickin’ up what it was laying down in the way of owning my identity and self-concept of the 1st house! lol. I have arrived, Saturn will be happy to know! Mwahahahaha! ๐ (now to the work of what it’s asking of me now). Relationships and tribe. Ooof. Love this so far! Woo!
Yayayayay! ๐ So glad, Kellye. Thrilled to have you with us on this deep-dive!
hey y’all – !
so sorry i missed this super-cool call this month!
i listened to the replay and caught something:
BEX — when Bonnie was helping you find when your Saturn moves to 18 degrees and y’all found the date (sometime in december, i think), she actually made an error and was looking at Jupiter. (the same thing happened later in the call with Sidney, but she caught that one.) look at the replay around 41:00 and you’ll see what i mean. since you said some of this was confusing, i didn’t want that accidental mis-spoken moment to cause more confusion for you!
Good lookin’ out Connie!! ๐ So glad you were able to catch the replay AND catch my Saturn/Jupiter dyslexia. LOL Sorry ’bout that, Bex. We’ll do more next month of course. Building that muscle!!
i’m usually the one with dyslexia, so i’m glad i could help! and, i find that it’s far easier to follow the patterns in replay. it’s like a really neat puzzle.
such fun!
For sure! Replays save my butt so many times!
Yes! I love this stuff so much and it is helping with every day!
That makes me so happy, Bex. I love helping with the power of the woo!
Thanks Constance! I will re-watch this and go over it. Thx for looking’ out!
Okaaaay, so finally re-watched this and almost wished I hadn’t! Ohhhhh. My Saturn actually doesn’t move in to the 12th house until the 16th of Aquarius and THAT IS on Feb. 09, 2022. Interesting times. ANNNNNNNND breathe.
It gets super close in May 2021 and moves away again.
Glad I went back and checked.
Iโm so bummed I didnโt make it to this meeting!!
Saturn has always been my favorite planet (I even have a tattoo of it).
When I was born, Saturn was retrograde in my 11th house in the sign of Pisces.
This would be friendships & community relationships, which I can definitely see through the connections Iโve made through my acting career. In Austin, most of my friends were made through the sets I worked on. I had a strong community built there. & the cancer in me can never let a relationship go. Iโm still friends with all of my peeps from high school. My anxiety has been an obstacle for me over the last few years so I lost sight of my friendships a bit. But this was a kind reminder that I do have so much in this area already. Could you delve into how the Pisces ties into all this? I struggle with connecting the signs to the houses.
According to the cheat sheet you gave us last month, Saturn is currently in my 10th house of career legacy. Iโve been putting so much pressure on myself in my career lately. Nothing feels โenoughโ or I feel behind & Iโm wondering/learning how I can make the most of where Iโm at in the present. It feels tied to my upcoming Saturn return.
Iโm coming up to my Saturn return in a couple of years & I can sooo already feel the energy of that. Iโm questioning everything & how it fits into my life.
Glad you covered retrograde planets because I was going to ask. I had five planets in retrograde when I was born so I guess Iโm just confused about everything?? haha geez, thatโs fun.
I like the permission slip to write my own story though.
My internet kept freezing so I posted this before finishing the video (watching in 1.5x speed probably doesn’t help) & I realized I didnโt check the degrees thoroughly. So currently, Saturn is actually in my 9th house of discovery & learning. That one feels a bit broad so Iโm not sure how to interpret that. Itโs one degree off of my midheaven, is there any connection there?
So, if Saturn is currently in your 9th house, this means you’re being tasked with keeping an open mind, exploring fully but not to find fault — instead to find inspiration. I like to think of the 9th house as generally feeling very Sagittarius in tone. It’s all about exploration and deeper learning/wisdom. So when Saturn is in the 9th house, it’s time for you to return to what you have deep knowledge about, trusting your depth of work and passion for certain topics, becoming more willing to SHARE what you know, deeply.
Especially if Saturn is currently at your midheaven, there’s some career implications that go with this! But maybe you meant when you were born, Saturn was at your midheaven? Lemmeknow. ๐ Isn’t this fun!
SO much permission to write your own story! SOOOOO much! ๐
We’ll do more Saturn (and Jupiter and the houses) in our May meeting so hopefully you can be with us for that one. But for sure, let’s look a little bit at what Saturn in Pisces means, for your birth situation/positioning.
Pisces is that other-worldly, mystical, super super super intuitive sign no matter where it is in our chart. But with Saturn in Pisces, that’s a destiny of using your intuition over what it is you can see and observe in real life. It’s as though — when you TRY to rely on what everyone else relies on (logic, pragmatism, the verifiable things out there in the physical world) — you’re actually going against your very nature. So the karmic lesson is about really trusting your gut, your intuition, your “version” of reality.
And the reason I put “version” in quotation marks is because it’s always changing! Because Pisces intuits different things from different sources ALL THE TIME. So it’s not even like you can declare something is a certain reality FOR YOU. Because once you do that, it’s just gonna change again anyway.
Could be maddening, but once you stop trying to make your worldview mesh with anyone else’s “reality,” you begin to really thrive from the gifts that you’re getting through your incredibly unique way of seeing things.
Ah, should have clarified – yes, Saturn is currently at my midheaven.
Iโm definitely in a period where Iโm trying to figure myself & what I know & what I have to offer. Iโve been journaling more than I ever have in my life due to all the thoughts blasting through my brain.
Wow, the Pisces Saturn description is spot on. I shut off my intuition for so long & Iโm slowly getting back to it. Iโve noticed the older I get & the more I try to live in the world everyone else clings to so tightly, the more disconnected I feel from my intuition. The world gets too loud & I canโt hear it anymore. & thank you for that last paragraph bc I really needed to read that. Iโm currently going through a period where everything inside me is changing rapidly. All the things I held dearly over there past couple years are shifting around & Iโm having to find new ways of existing in the world.
Thank you for all the insight. This was so helpful!
I look forward to diving more into these two planets next month!
Bon – Question regarding the moon in a specific sign …
On Monday and Tuesday of this week, I had multiple moments of just crrrryyyyyyying. Now, sure – some of it is from the – ahem – current situation feels, and also some personal stuff. BUT – I couldn’t help but wondering if it were something astro-related. Then I remember it was a Cancer moon during that time. Water, emotional, sensitive sign. Bingo, amiright? What do you think?
I ask because, as you recommend, I’m trying to see how I fair during the different moon phases and notice what I do/feel when it is in each sign.
So, I think so far I’ve noticed I was a bit more anxious in the Aries moon last week (makes sense – fire, right?), and then a cry fest in the Cancer moon this week.
Yup. Spot on. Cancer moon is actually the MOST sensitive of the water moons. It’s intense. It feels ALL the things. And most of it is NOT our own emotions we’re feeling. Cancer picks up everyone ELSE’s stuff.
And you’re doing exactly what I want y’all doing with the Aligned Hustle Calendar! Digging in there and finding out which moons and numerology combinations make you feel what kinds of way? That’s the power of it! Because *I* can tell you how an Aries moon makes ME feel, but how it makes YOU feel will always be more meaningful to you and how you plan things around that knowing.
This is so great! ๐
Oh, great, glad I was on the right track! Thank you!
It was so funny – one of the days I was trying to make a salad and was crying profusely as I was washing the lettuce and sobbing. Haha! It was QUITE comical. Freaking Cancer moon!
Yes, it’s so powerful to be able to notice these things. Let’s just say I won’t purposely plan on being in some important board meeting, presentation, etc. during a Cancer moon!! Unless it’s an audition where I need to cry, then SIGN ME UP!! haha ๐
Brilliant. Ha ha!
Is it possible to add the Natalie cheat sheet and planet meanings sheet here? I’m new and don’t have access to the earlier session where they live.
Done! ๐
Is it normal when first really looking at your chart to feel a bit discouraged and maybe a tad lot sad? Like doomed from the beginning kind of stuff? I may have gone overboard with color coded highlighters and notes looking at things today and trying to get a clear understanding of what I am seeing on my chart. I was trying to focus on the positive things and seeing challenges as opportunities for growth, but I had to call it quits when I couldn’t stop crying. So, I’m just curious if it is normal to look at your chart and ask the universe and higher self WTF?
Thank you for the cheat sheets.
Aw, Kristen, here are some hugs: {{{{{hugs}}}}}
We ALWAYS have free will! We have so much free will that we can decide not to believe in free will if we’d like to. ๐
Nothing is good or bad. No one is “doomed”. Our charts just tell us where we have strengths and weaknesses, which is also what our genetics tell us. And one of my favorite quotes in THAT area is “Genetics load the gun; behavior pulls the trigger.”
So, you can have all the signs that YOU believe are “bad” in certain planets or houses (again, your perception; I don’t want to invalidate your feelings of course, but there is no such thing as a BAD chart or BAD signs or BAD planets or BAD houses) and that just means that’s where you’ve got some work to do. Some energy to focus. ๐ That’s it!
Is there something specific you see that has you frustrated?
Again, {{{hugs}}} girl. You’ve got this!
Thank you Bonnie.
What has me frustrated is the sheer number of areas that are “work to do areas”. And I was surprised by places that I thought would be work to do areas, that don’t even have anything in that house on my chart.
If there were going to be any retrogrades in my chart I seriously expected them to show up in 6th house of Health, Work, Daily, Support…. there is nothing in my natal chart there. Shocking given how much chronic illness and trauma has had a merry dance throughout my life. That’s when my brain went “Whaaaaaaat????”
So then I was very curious about the planets that were in retrograde.
6 planets were in retrograde when I was born.
Sun – Taurus
R- Libra – Mars – 3rd House – Networking
R – Libra – Saturn – 3rd House – Networking
R – Scorpio – Jupiter – 4th House – Home & Family
R – Libra – Pluto – 4th House – Home & Family
R – Sagittarius – Uranus – 5th House – Fun & Creativity
R – Sagittarius – Neptune – 5th House – Fun & Creativity
And I don’t know what to do with all that. Even the “good fortune” planet was in retro. Which given what has happened in my life makes sense, but damn.
I am working so hard on being done with suffering and instead figuring out ways to thrive around, and despite, all the ick. But I look at the chart and I can’t help but wonder what the hell I am supposed to be doing? I tried looking at the aspect stuff hoping that would be enlightening, and most of what I saw was oppositions and blocked energy, which makes a lot of sense considering life event stuff, but leaves me feeling very stifled.
I am trying so hard to focus on positive and see opportunities and not be gloomy. I guess I am just frustrated all over. Especially with the Jupiter and Saturn both being in retrograde.
I sent you .pdfs of my chart via What Works messenger for quick reference.
Thank you for the {{{hugs}}}! {{{{Hugging}}}} you back!
Saturn was retro when I was born too. <3 I don't know hardly anything about all this beyond star signs and what I newly learned in our last call so I can't discern NEAR what you seem to be able to glean out of all this so I'm kind of in awe. You really seem to know your stuff about all this. Kudos for that!
Very new to this and very much still trying to figure things out. I feel like a kid learning about negative numbers for the first time.
So here’s where I’d like to pattern-interrupt you, if I may, Kristen.
You get to “I don’t know what to do with all that” and then instead of sitting in the “I don’t know what to do with all that” STATE for a while, you rush to catastrophize things. Turn it all into bad news. Make it all about being blocked and stifled.
Why are you frustrated about retrogrades?
Again, nothing in a chart — any chart — means bad or good or any other label of quality. They’re just tones and POVs and setpoints that we can deal with. It’s like knowing there’s a bridge out ahead on this path we’re traveling and that means detour or build a new bridge or climb down into the riverbed and back up the other side… there’s always a way across. No one right way, ever!
What’s your birth number? And what elements are dominant in your chart? Are you low on any elements? Let’s take a bigger picture look at things before spinning out about any of the micro. ๐
Thank you for your wisdom and guidance.
Apparently Scorpio moon hit me bad. I’m facing a very difficult needs to solved ASAP situation, and I was hoping to find some guidance on how to release it and not repeat the pattern. So when I was looking at my chart and saw just how many things create “learning situations” I was pretty upset because the idea of not being able to release the bad situation in the very near future, and having to repeat those kind of situations again and again, is something I would very much like to move on from. I’ve been doing the deep work to do so for the last decade, and Scorpio Moon highlighted the areas I have struggled with the most.
My chart leans towards earth and fire, but has balancing elements in air and water.
Birth # was 1, currently in a #3 year.
Scorpio moon is such a butthole. I love those moments when I can take the pressure off myself about how I feel at any given time. The moon has its way with us, like it or not! ๐ Glad you’re feeling somewhat better and just being open to what all of this is here to teach you will help a great deal. ๐
As a 1, you can start things with ease so that would mean even starting anew with patterns you’re ready to stop repeating. And with good fire in your chart? Double that. No reason to stay stuck in a loop just because you have before. Choosing again is a strength for you! So… choose differently. See how it feels. Yay!
Thank you for that perspective. {{{{{Huggs!!!!}}}}}
๐
We just went into a Pisces moon, so here come the feels. Luckily, Pisces moon is way more dreamy than intensely sad/mad/hurt/fatalistic like Scorpio moon. Enjoy the dreaminess. Make some vision boards in your mind (or in real life). Feel the feels.
Excited to jam about all this!
Oh, and please know, I’m not trying to invalidate what you’re feeling. ๐ You feel what you feel and that’s all okay. I’m just asking you not to use the chart as a tool to be mean to yourself! It’s not the weapon you’re making it into. I promise!
Hi Bonnie, and Everybody
Unfortunately, I won’t be able to make it live on Friday but I will watch the recording. And similarly to Kristen, I also had 5 planets in retrograde when I was born. It freaked me out a little bit, but it actually made sense. I had hard lessons in life early on. And maybe that’s why I learned to just shrug things off and move on so easily. I think it just made me more resilient. Can we talk more about retrograde planets in charts? I know you have plans for this meeting in May already, but maybe in the future sometime?
In the meantime, I am linking my chart here. I adjusted the date to UTC time, cause I was born in Hungary.
https://docs.google.com/document/d/17ReO5WyqGX5Q8oP_b9scOcdtvgXZlz4focQu23lvoxw/edit?usp=sharing
Very cool, Ivett! Love your perspective on the retrogrades. Yes, we’ll be sure to chat about retrogrades as a part of the next Zoom. With so many planets IN retrograde right now, it’s worth a discussion for the NOW of it all and I’ll be sure to address the when-you-were-born of it all as well. ๐
Do me a favor and render your chart at Astro.com and let me see that one? This one is as if we were progressing a chart to that time/date, but your BIRTH chart will include the exact location of your birth and the exact time, not just the time zone for that part of the world. Also the Astro chart will have the key of info on the sidebar and have the houses and midheaven and all marked off in a way that helps me navigate the chartwheel and what it’s telling us. Thank you!
We’ll miss you Friday! Be sure to circle back with any questions here! Sending you love.
Thank you Bonnie, I updated the same google doc. It should show the angles and stuff now from Astro.com.
Also, I can’t wait to see Kyle Kittleson on the summit ๐
Bon, do so many planets in retrograde at once have anything to do with feeling increased fatigue and overall tiredness? Is it sort of a way to help us go inward and do all the “re’s” we should be doing during a retrograde?
I’ve just been so. damn. tired. lately (and getting a bit unmotivated, too as a result of that) and started to think what it could be astro-wise.
I know you asked this of Bon and Iโm looking forward to the answer too, but I also feel that we are not quite realizing the ways in which this pandemic has affected our brains and bodies. There is real neuro scientific stuff going on with why we feel in this constant โfogโ of tiredness etc and it has to do with being in a constant state of fight or flight and anxiety. I read an article that talked about a concept called โAllostatic Loadโ and I lost the link to it but you could google it and find out more info. Iโm also very interested in possible retrograde stuff adding to this load too. Be gentle with yourself. Iโm trying to do the same. Hugs. โค๏ธ
Thank you for the input, Kellye! And thank you for the reminder to be gentle. I’ve learned to be better at that (Bon knows!), but I always need and love a reminder for it! Haha. Hugs back to you! <3
Kellye’s got it, Abs. Think about how we look at people who lived through really tough times in history (take your pick of anything that a population shared — from wars to depressions to cultural genocide to slavery to you name it). We have such compassion for them, collectively and as individuals, from a position of, “Wow. How did you EVER withstand that for so long?” much of the time.
We’re the population that’s going through that right now. We’re in what’s called chronic stress and the nervous system is not built for that. We’re supposed to have sporadic acute stress. That’s what the chemicals in our brains were built to handle. But instead, we’re living through chronic stress — with no end in sight — and walking around as if we should still be able to FUNCTION. In some circles, we’re being told we have to not only survive this time but THRIVE during it.
And as far as the brain is concerned, we’re under a constant threat and there’s no end in sight. So the brain is protecting us by prioritizing things that keep us SAFE (and that means sleeping, eating, conserving energy that’s usually used for more complex problem-solving — so we can FIGHT or go limp to the threat that has made us its prey, whichever serves us the best at the time). Since what keeps us safe BEST (for most of us) is eating, sleeping, and doing super basic/easy/would-usually-bore-us tasks, that’s what our brains are prioritizing.
The retrogrades have nothing to do with that.
What the retrogrades DO whip up for us is the need to revisit the things that those planets are all about.
So, with Saturn, we revisit our destiny. Are we on our path? Are we living out our purpose?
With Pluto, we revisit our generational mission. Are we healing the world the way we’re supposed to?
With Venus, we revisit our sense of beauty and value and love. Are we being true to our hearts?
With Jupiter, we revisit our sense of fortune and abundance and blessings. Are we leaning into those strengths to the fullest?
The only astrological fatigue-inducer would, in my POV, be Taurus season itself. ๐ Taurus loves to rest, bask, luxuriate, eat rich foods, and sleep in. LOVES all of that slow-moving, steady, feel-good stuff.
Soon enough, it’ll be Gemini season and we’ll feel the speed get thrown into hyperdrive… and then Mercury will go retrograde next month to slow that back down as we head into Cancer season, which will feel all the feelings (not just our own).
Ah, and of course, the moon travels through phases every couple of days that could dictate far more how it is we really feel. I’d be willing to bet you felt a difference between the weekend (Pisces moon) and the shift into Aries moon yesterday and today. And if you felt NOTHING shift, well, you’re in protective mode due to the trauma we’re all facing right now and that’s more powerful than anything for many of us.
Sending you love!
Thank you for all this, Bon! Yes, so true that we are now one of “those” populations now. It’s so surreal!
It’s funny, I know that this whole pandemic time as definitely caused me to be more tired, more anxious, etc., but it’s like I tend to push it away as the reason and try and find something else! Haha. I think I need to embrace the fact that this is a big fucking deal and probably 99% the cause for just about everything I feel (except when those big astro-related things really kick in and are powerful for their own reasons in their own way)!
I’m working on all my re’s during these retrogrades and I like doing it! I love the opportunity to give myself a good check-in.
And yes, I can most definitely feel that my body and mind are doing things to keep me safe. So amazing.
Interesting note about Taurus season – perhaps that has contributed to some of this, and I shall look forward to next year to see if I get those same vibes again.
I’m going to have to go in major self-care mode for Cancer season, though, that’s for sure! That silly Cancer plus me being an empath and HSP is some major fucking feely feels!
In regards to a shift with the Pisces and Aries moon, I didn’t feel it yesterday because it was a low day for me, but I felt it this morning. I felt a bit more motivated and ready to take advantage of the good GSD day that today is. So – I’d say maybe 50/50 on feeling the shift versus not feeling it and being in protective mode. BUT – I will say that overall – I can feel the differences in effects of each moon a bit better now. I look forward to feeling them more when I get out of pandemic protective mode and can be better in tune with them.
Thank you!! <3
Yeah, the pandemic is hard on everybody. We are all going through collective trauma right now. It’s hard to get anything done under so much stress. I’ve been taking really long walks all by myself. Sometimes that’s my biggest accomplishment for the whole day.
