tracking my Jupiter which seems to be hanging out in my 5th house primarily, though come April 21st it edges over into my 6th, but then returns to my 5th on June 12th and hangs out there for a super loooong time.
there are periods where it looks like it’s in retrograde (degrees in red, correct?).
do we need to account for the retrograde in any way given the methodology you gave us?
this is fun, btw! i like these two houses right now!
and i’m going to pause on my domestic support systems until later in April. too much fun & creative work to focus on right now!

Yes! When Jupiter goes retrograde, it stays that way for a nice long time and can shift back into the house it just left depending on how far out of that house it got before the retrograde started. Since the outer planets are so big and their orbit takes so long, those retrograde periods are longer.
Just like with Mercury retrograde, the focus is on revisiting, revising, redoing, etc. (all the RE- stuff) but instead of it being about communication, travel, technology (Mercury’s stuff) it’s about fortune, joy, luck, abundance (Jupiter’s stuff).
Yes, when the degrees are in red, the planet is in retrograde and will shift in the other direction as you advance the arrow through time using Planet Watcher.

so my jupiter is dancing mainly in 5th house right now and boardering 6th and edging over there come early may. for my fortunate focus to be in fun & creativity + health, work, & daily support makes complete sense to me.
my jupiter goes retro starting may 15th for a long while and dancing on the boarder of these same houses — so does that mean i’ll be revisiting/revising the seeds & work i’m doing now and throughout april? or does it mean i’ll feel off with these two houses? (i’m hoping it’s the former, of course!)

When anything goes retrograde, it’s a REvisiting, REevaluating, REviewing, REdoing, and on and on. 😉
So, while Jupiter is in retrograde — in whatever house it’s in — the work is still that of the house it’s currently in, but more about reflecting on what’s already happened and what change, editing, deepening needs to be done while Jupiter is here, giving all that advantage. So it’s not that things get un-Jupiter-like; they just get REVIEW related.
And we’re so used to Mercury retrograde teaching us what retrograde means. But all it teaches us is what MERCURY retrograde means. Retrograde itself doesn’t mean snags and communication breakdowns and running late and cancellations and frustrations. Those are all Mercury-related things. Jupiter-related things are luck and abundance and prosperity and fun.
I was finally able to watch the replay. OMG – can I just say again how much I love this shit?! What you taught, Bon, about how to find where our Jupiter is now is so FUN! It reminded me that while astrology seems/feels complicated sometimes, it’s actually very practical in how it works. SO. COOL.
Could you please help clarify my current Jupiter status for me?
You know that when I was born Jupiter was in my 5th house, so I know I need to make sure I’m having FUN to make money/while making money. Which I’ve been working and making sure it’s a focus of mine.
Right now, I’ve found that Jupiter is in my 8th house. Financial security.
So – to put it into words that I can understand better – this means that if I’m FOCUSING on my financial security, Jupiter is going to back me up there and help me out, right?
I feel like I’m always trying to focus on financial security in general all the time. So, how would I approach this differently at this point in time while Jupiter is there?

Oh, goodie! I’m so glad that there’s some clarity and practicality in this deep dive of Jupiter, Abs. I love looking into ONE planet and the houses… that’s already so much! And if it can get talked about without breaking the brain? Yay! Progress!! 🙂 And it’s so much fun, of course. Hooray!
YES to your question! If Jupiter is currently in your 8th house, it means if you put your attention on financial security and success, you’ve got the power of Jupiter on your side. It means you’ll be more fortunate/lucky than usual. It’s the time to make bolder moves than usual and with more confidence than ever, because the planet of abundance is RIGHT THERE lighting up the way for things to work out.
There’s no need to approach it differently, necessarily. It just means that you have the power of Jupiter backing you up, so let’s say it like this: If you are the type of person who always plays the stock market, you could make bolder investments right now. If you’re the type who gambles, you could make larger bets right now. So it’s not so much that you change the HOW of it as you change the confidence level with which you go for it.

Jupiter will move to my 9th house on January 10, 2021. So, that feels good that I have a while to use Jupiter to my advantage for my financial stability!
I think that it’s really fitting, actually (go figure). Do you remember my financial goals I had declared in the entrepreneur mastermind? They were all to be met by December 31, 2020. And all of them completely relate to and contribute to my financial stability. And what do you know – the goal to be in a REALLY good place financial stability-wise is just about 11 days away from when Jupiter leaves my 8th house. Haha!
That reminds me. I also wanted to ask about my 9th house. Looking ahead, when it does go into my 9th house, that is discover/learning/exploring. So – when I’m thinking ahead, am I looking to be ready to study finances even more? Like, learning more intricate investment strategies, etc.? That kinda thing?
And overall this is all so helpful and timely because of my big focus on my relationship with money, as you know. So, it feels great to bring the astro into it even more!!

Learning and discovering ANYTHING. Not necessarily finances. Just ANYTHING you’re hungry for learning, exploring, gaining wisdom about, you’ll have the favor of Jupiter helping make that so much more abundant, when Jupiter shifts into your 9th house. 🙂
Ah, okay. So the “abundance/finances/money/luck” part of Jupiter that’s there in the 9th house is to bring more abundance in general to what I’m learning, not about learning more about abundance/finances itself.
It takes me a while to get the literally translation and application of the thing that we’re talking about. I just gotta keep doing it! Thank you for your help in that!

Bon, meant to ask – in the recording you mentioned there are Abe livestreams happening. Could you please let me know where those are? I see that she has a FB page, but didn’t see anything there. The other FB pages I found seemed like they were ones that her peeps made, not necessarily her own.
Also, I’ll just put this here so it’s in the same spot – in the livestream about Liz Gilbert, you mentioned your subscription to Abe MP3s. Do you do one of the three options she has on her site under “subscriptions?” If so, which one do you do? I didn’t even know she had those, so I’m glad I heard you mention them! Looks like a good way to listen to a part of her most current workshop.

Okay! The Abe livestream that’s from March through June 2020 is a gift to people who have an Abe in-person event bought (because they desperately want us to keep our reservations with them vs. asking for a refund right now). I get that. We’re all asking our people to STAY INVESTED in us so we don’t all have to go out of business from the mass exodus. 😉
Now, because so many people who do NOT have tickets to an Abraham event wanted access to the 3x/wk. livestream, I believe they’re selling access to it as well. Here’s the site. They’re keeping it totally separate from the main Abe site.
As for the MP3s, I subscribe at the main site at the monthly level. That gives me plenty of new files to get through each month and every now and then I’ll be inspired to go back to the old library and buy a workshop I haven’t attended. I’m guessing, during this quarantine time, they’ll be releasing some of those old ones (maybe even ones I’ve bought separately) to the subscribers. Or maybe they’ll chop up some of the stuff from the current months of livestreams.
Doesn’t matter, of course! I get so much benefit from them all that I just love keeping up my subscription (it also makes up for the years before I could afford a subscription and I got all the free stuff online but knew someday I would want to pay for what I was getting).
With the Abe monthly thing, they provide recordings about six months after the event takes place (so, I just downloaded my October 2019 recordings as a part of my April 2020 subscription; if I did the masters subscription, I would get them sooner and more raw/less polished).
When I attend events like the cruises, I buy the whole raw version of the MP3s because I know so many of the people who get in the hot seat after all that time together and I remember the moments before and between and after and I can hear my own laugh at times in the audience reaction, etc. 🙂 So… it’s like buying a live concert recording probably. LOL

Could I also get a clarification on my Jupiter as well?
When I was born, Jupiter was in Gemini in my 7th House of Relationships. Based on your breakdown of using Planet Watcher to find where Jupiter is in Capricorn, Jupiter is in my 2nd House of Values. So I find the most luck/opportunities (in general) fostering 1n1 relationships, but right now, if I focus on my values, that’s where I’ll get the most luck/opportunities, which to me sounds like a matter of boundaries to me. Ex: what are my no lines, baseline criteria, sacred circle, what does self-care look like, daily rituals, etc.
It’s so interesting that Jupiter is in my 7th House because I’ve always felt more comfortable in 1n1 sessions and relationships and feel like I’m drowning in group settings.
Yep! You’ve got it. You have a natural, lifelong streak of luck and abundance in 7th house areas no matter where Jupiter happens to be right now. But its existence in your 2nd house right now means you can do some really good structuring of your values and find it’s easier than ever AND the ways you stick to your values RN will lead to some abundance in the short term.

yeeee, I feel like values has been a mini-theme in the past few months. It’s popped up a few times in EC, and I’m always like… hmm, what ARE values? What do they mean? And I feel like the boundary module in EC is helping me get clarity on that.
