It’s time to tackle the October calendar so here we go!
As we near November, we’ll tackle that month’s calendar — and our Zoom on October 22nd will be about November’s magic. Scroll down to get registered to be a part of that next session! ’til then, it’s all about October.
As always, we’ll cover what the numerology of the days mean, what the moon phases tell us, and of course how all this plays out in your favor in the most intriguing and powerful ways! During the Zoom, you’ll get a chance to hop in the hot seat — be sure to bring your birthdate so I can work my magic with you — and we’ll talk about how the woo of the month aligns with YOU!

Sorry I missed the call. It was a beautiful mistake on my part. Thrilled there is a re-play. I am very new at all of this and you guys are obviously way ahead of me. So i will be asking a lot of questions to catch up. As an intro, I found Bonnie later in my life, and I am so grateful for this community. I never did astrology or numerology or any of that except on Halloween for fun and I was usually doing the readings which meant it was all made up.
I will probably do this piecemeal in order to focus on what it is I don’t understand. And for this session, what I am curious about is what do you focus on when you look back 9 years? A specific time? An overall feeling? Something major that happened or didn’t happen. I have over 50 years to look back on which gives me a lot to think about and dig up in my cob-web filled mind. (Love Halloween).
My birth year is a 5. And I am in a 1 year. I think I said that right.
Any thoughts any of you have on this are appreciated. If I look back 9 years ago, I took a 9-5 job that allowed me to take care of the house my hubby and I purchased the year before in 2009 after booking a national commercial that paid well. Side note that seems like it’s a parallel: the same year I was offered the job, I turned down a film for not a lot of money in Italy, to keep t the job and thus my home. 9 years before that I moved to LA after we lost everything post 9-11 (gov contracts evaporated). 9 years before that I moved back to Boston (we were in NY ) as my husband started a company up there. 9 years before that I started writing and performing original music in a rock band while I was in an MFA program. Later found out I wasn’t supposed to be doing that, but no one stopped me (always the rebel). 9 years before that, I broke my back in High School. Am I focusing on the right thing? Or is there something else I should be looking at in each of those periods of time?

I’m so glad you’re here, Deb! And Halloween is my favorite holiday so I’m with you on the readings and all the cobwebs. 😉 Hee hee!
So the way I work it is like this: I start with a 1 year and then look at those patterns. In a 1 year, we plant new seeds. We set the tone for the 9-year cycle. We’re masculine and driven and ready for new things.
1 years for you have been 2019, 2010, 2001, 1992, 1983, 1974, and 1965.
When you’ve mentioned above that you made a big move to LA in a 1 year after losing gigs in 9-11, that actually doesn’t track. You would’ve moved (at the earliest) in the last three months of your 1 year, right? If you moved to LA in the last quarter of 2001 (that would’ve been the only way for that to happen AFTER 9-11 and in your 1 year). But the seeds you planted in your 1 year were probably very well underway in the planting process ALL throughout 2001, most of which happened BEFORE 9-11 and the end of your contracts and the move to LA. So even though a move to LA is a new beginning, I would really look at what you were intention-setting BEFORE the big event we all remember from 2001.
Other than that tweak to the focus you’re putting on the timeline itself, I would basically see about creating a logline for each 9-year cycle. Here, I’ll do me so you can see what I mean.
My 1 years have been: 2017, 2008, 1999, 1990, 1981, 1972.
Logline for each:
1972: learning how to learn
1981: learning how to live through stuff
1990: learning who I really am
1999: living a life that is 100% my own
2008: trusting my voice has meaning beyond my safe circle
2017: investing in myself with ultimate presence for every ounce of who I am
So then if we were to drop a pin in any specific year of any 9-year cycle, I could see where that year’s function had an impact on the 9-year cycle’s theme/logline.
Let’s look at 2011. A 4 year in the cycle of trusting my voice has meaning beyond my safe circle. Remember, that was the theme for the WHOLE 9 years, right? The SEEDS for that were planted in 2008. That was the year we taught the first-ever in-person (“Shh… don’t tell anyone,” invitation only FIGHT CLUB-like) class of SMFA. Okay, so to look at 2011, a 4 year, the year of hard work. In 2011, we took the leap to offering SMFA online, not as a part of anyone else’s offering or some collaboration (which I had done before, for years), but as its own THING. By 2011, we were teaching three different classes of SMFA simultaneously in person every week (2 foundations classes and 1 masterclass every week), plus I toured to Chicago, New York, and Toronto because one of my students offered to PRODUCE my tour. Also in 2011, we started paying our team rather than having interns or work-study people who would exchange free classes for coming in and helping in the office. HARD WORK in 2011, but all on that theme of trusting I could bring SMFA beyond my safe fanbase. That I could go global.
Now, if I wanted to see what another 4 year felt like, I would jump back to 2002 and see how the 4 year showed up within the theme of living a life that was 100% my own. What I mean by that logline is that 9-year cycle was all about eschewing things that normally a good southern girl would just DO (have a real job, get married to a safe man with a good job, buy a house, make a baby or two). So the hard work of 2002 (a 4 year) was on my non-traditional life. Busting my ass at Backstage, building a name for myself not just as a casting columnist, really making those relationships my own, having moved this dude I met on the internet the year before into my apartment and supporting him (including paying his kid’s child support), and ultimately calling OFF the wedding we had scheduled for 2002. Work, work, work to really double down on a life that looked terrifying to everyone I was related to, but IDGAF what they thought. 😉
And if I’d like to get a sense of how my upcoming 4 year (2020) might feel… well… I can see it’s gonna be a lot of work. But work I love. Because it always seems to be work that makes a big difference in how substantial the growth of the whole nine years might go! 😉
Is this helping? Ask questions, babe! I’m all for baby steps with this stuff because there is a LOT here. I actually had a phoner today with my biz-bestie (the amazing Aliza Rose, The Business Mystic) and we talked for more than two and a half hours about not JUST woo-woo, but so much of it WAS about planets and modes and elements and numbers and the moon cycles and houses and OMG there’s just soooooooooo much even if it’s your whole business (like it is for her) or something you’ve spent your whole life in (like me).
So the work now is to begin learning the alphabet for a language you hope to have fluency in someday. No need to stress about the conjugation of verbs or all the parts of speech. For now, the work is learning the alphabet, and that’s exactly what it looks like you’re doing! SO proud of you. 🙂 Ask more questions. I’ve gotcha!

To figure my personal number for the day, is this the correct calculation?
Birth month + Birth day + Current Month + Current Day + Current Year
So, for me, with a birthday of July 30 and the current day of October 1, 2019, it would be:
7+3+0+10+0+1+2+0+1+9 = 33
3+3 = 6
So, October 1 would be a 6 day for me.
If so, then October 2 would be a 7 day for me, and so on, until I hit 9, and then the next day after 9 would be a 1 day for me.
Is that right?
Ah. Now I see how you got to this. (I look at and reply to comments from the dashboard so I can see hundreds of comments from all our membership spaces in the order they were posted.)
No. If you watch the vid replay for this month, you actually see me working through how there’s no way to do this — which is why we instead use the relationship chart. And that means YOU are a [whatever your birth number is] and TODAY is a [whatever that day happens to be] and you cross-check them on the relationship chart to see how you can lean into what they do (“they” being the day’s number) best to make the most of the intersection! 🙂
Hope that helps clear things up!! Rewatch the vid if not. You’ll see me go through the exact a-ha moment for this.

Okay, so I will do my best with that.
The weird thing is that I had heard about that calculation before and then when I searched how to find a personal number for the day, that calculation came up there.
But, I could totally be mis-interpreting it and/or not understanding it properly. Which I’m sure is the case! haha

Feel free to share a link if you find a way to break it down. I just couldn’t make it make sense that we either throw OUT our own birth year or we’re using two different years in the calculation and neither feels right… and then it all just becomes a little too much overlap to be helpful, IMO. But track the patterns! If you feel yourself feeling very 2-ish on a 6 day, that’s worth noting! Because that’s info that helps you navigate going forward!

Putting another question here before I get too deep into the month.
I’m on October 2nd, and, if I’m doing this right, have some information that is on both sides of the spectrum.
For example –
It’s a 6 day, so it’s getting the house in order and domestic energy.
It’s a 7 day for me personally, so it’s going inward.
The moon has gone into Sagittarius, so there’s fire.
I’m also very fire-dominate (and low-to-no earth).
And, I’m in a 4 year, so that is hard work.
So, for this day, there’s a lot of fire and hard work-type things, but there’s also the domestic and inward stuff, too.
So would I be prepared to have it be a good GSD day while at the same time doing self-care and spiritual rituals?
Or, as I think you said before, do work, but do it inside?
As you know, I’m trying to look at this from a business/content-creation side to start, so I want to find the good GSD days, the good communication days, etc., but I want to make sure I’m knowing the times to really take care of myself and de-regulate, too. Unless it’s a day where there’s both, like the 2nd, for example.
I’ve got 29 more days to go, so hopefully by the 29th one I’ll be really getting the hang of this! Haha 😉

And a similar thing happens for the 3rd – it’s a 7 day, which is going inward, but an 8 day for me, which is butterfly emerging and being seen.
Uhhhhhh – so do I go inward or be seen?! Hahahaha!
Or, is it something where I do what feels best that day, etc.?
For now, you’re tracking patterns. See how you FEEL on a day with that data and mark it. Notice again the next time a day like that comes up. Repeat, repeat, repeat! When you begin to track the patterns, it gets clear how to plan for those days coming up. Of course, with the reminder that it’s not just the numerology we’re looking at! It’s also the moon phase and any other planetary shifts you’ve got to factor in. 🙂

Okay, it’s a 6 day but I’m not sure how that’s a 7 day for you. Be sure to watch the part of the replay for this month when we discussed that your personal day kind of can’t be calculated so easily because you’ve got your birth year to contend with and the current year and you can’t really do numerology using TWO different years in the math of it. 😉
So let’s look at how it’s a 6 day — domestic, repair, house and home, relationships of fam; in a 4 month — the month of hard work and rolling up your sleeves; in a 3 year — creative solutions and results of the previous two years of planting seeds and nurturing them.
Moon in Sagittarius means fire, yes, but also travel and movement. So with adding that energy to the 6 of the day, to me that means your movement may be around the house. Your travel may be with the fam or partner.
Because I’m not seeing how you get that this is a 7 day FOR YOU (so walk me through that so I can join you in that part of the discussion), I’m only seeing the fire and air (from the Libra sun right now) and the domestic energy of the 6 in a 4 month of hard work and since you’re in a 4 year, it should feel very easy to GSD today, especially around your home office!

That Scorpio moon is all about intensity, babe. Sexy, simmering… and for those who don’t understand their emotions and fear that intense craving for getting to the bottom of things, sure, it can become a burst of energy that looks like rage! We shifted into Taurus moon a few hours ago. Should feel more stable now. 😉

i’m piecing together, slowly, but i’m here!
i’m thinking through my 1-years: 2019; 2010; 2001; 1992; 1983; 1974.
right now i can only think of significant events that occurred in those years. i’m not sure what line those events may draw toward the intentions that were set and how those carry through the cycle. i’ll have to let that marinate some more, but i’m starting to see some “moments” that set a course in motion.
this year i’m finishing a 1-year, which honestly, didn’t really hit me until tonight. i think i’m aware of the seeds i’ve planted, but i want to get really clear about all of that before the end of the year, esp. given the doubt that may creep up next year.
i also found the cardinal, fixed, mutation signifiers very interesting. my sun (taurus), moon (leo), and rising (leo) are all FIXED. oh golly — i know i don’t love change, but good grief!
at some date (any date!) in the future, would you mind unpacking these signifiers (what are they called?) a little more for us?
lastly, it’s curious that marc & i are almost identical in our earth-air-fire-water numbers (and they go from top to bottom in that order). he has one more fire than i do and i have one more water, but it’s crazy-close.
the description of low water just doesn’t ring true for me and i’m wondering which clues may help me unpack that conundrum. (my neptune is scorpio and true node is pices, if that provides any clues.) i’ve tried to do some research on the google, but went down a few rides that did not help.
also — if there isn’t a way to unpack this easily NO WORRIES! i’ll just let that live and know that i know i’ve got it covered. somewhere my body knows the dealio.

We can definitely talk through the modes (that’s the word you’re looking for) in this month’s Zoom meeting. I’ll also plan to do a future Woo-Woo Wednesday on this, in Expansive Capacity. 🙂 I’m still learning the power of the modes and what bonds them and where the elements dominate rather than the modes, so as I learn enough to make it clear, I’ll share. But for sure, I now have enough foundation for us to dive in on this a bit in our next Zoom. Yay!
As for your elements, remember in the Woo-Woo Wednesday I did on elements a while back, I mentioned that it’s not just quantity; it’s quality! So while you may have numbers that should make you feel LOW on an element, if the placements for those few are pretty heavy-duty ones, you won’t feel low after all. 😉

Hey everyone, I am Bex and astrology is new in my life. Numbers aren’t my superpower but I like the approach to baby steps.
First. I haven’t managed to figure out loglines and will continue to work on it to gain perspective. I am in a 2yr.
2019: Completed YTT, reno’s are in 2nd year, lot’s of travelling, very little personal space due to work and early morning construction, commitment to changing careers and transitioning
2010: First home purchase, left the city, lots of travelling, lots of construction for moving in to one of the wings (I live in a schoolhouse), busiest year for work with my company
2001: moved in to my first house w the beau, started working as a solo performer and income for fire eating, named our business Circus Orange
1992: ?? have to look at some documents
1983:??same as above
1974: Big move from city and lots of love to slummy village in the middle of nowhere, big life change, night tears begin, nightmares begin, parents in major financial stress, this is a very significant year in my life.
Big changes and big moves are a theme throughout. All progressively moving to betterment!
I am looking at my 3yr if it is at birth (Sept.).
Wondering where I can get a proper chart done with my sign etc? I may have overlooked it but not sure what element I live in. I know right now my Doshas are Pitta, Vatta.

Okay, so you are born a 1 and you are IN a 2 year right now. 🙂 Rather than doing loglines for the years you chose, could you do them for the 1-years? So, for 2018, 2009, 2000, 1991, 1982, and 1973? Because those 1-years are the ones for which you’ve set the tone for the 9-year cycles that follow. Seed planting years. That’s what we want to track. THEN you can see how in each of those 2-years, you handled the 2-year energy for each of the 1-years before them.
Play with that and we can talk more about it on the Zoom. So excited to explore this work with you!

Bon, have a Q about when to send some emails to voiceover clients. I want the clients to see me and reply to me! They are clients I’ve previously worked with but am touching base with to remind them of me and drum up some more work from them.
Side note – I’m SO happy to be doing this work, as you know, but I loved especially today when I was like, “Aw, man, I better hurry up and get those emails out today since tomorrow is Friday and I don’t want to send them then.”
But then I was like, “WAIT! Maybe today isn’t the day anyway! WHAT DOES THE CALENDAR TELL ME TO DO??!”

So, here I am.
I’d like to send them within the next week. And would like to follow the general rules of emails getting lost on Mondays and Fridays. So, either today, Thursday, or next week on Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday.
I don’t see anything on my notes or the calendar that explicitly says “good day for communication.”
So, I’m looking at other things.
Bear with me while I talk this out and see if it’s right! 🙂
I don’t see any void moons.
Numerology wise, I’m dealing with a 5, 1, 2, and 3, for those four days I mentioned. So, in a quick summary, that’s partying/rebeling, planting seeds, nurturing/feminine, and creativity, respectively.
Moon-wise, I’m dealing with Pisces for the first one, Taurus for the next two, and Gemini for the last one. So, that’s water, earth, and air, respectively.
Personally numerology-wise, I’m a 3. So, that’s creativity, revealing myself.
If all that’s right, AND if I deduce this right, I’m guessing maybe next Thursday the 17th because there’s no void moon, it’s a 3 day and I’m a 3, which equals some good creativity and revealing itself to the world (see me, clients! see me!), and it’s air which is chatty (so I talk to you, and you talk back to me, clients!).

Bon, I am putting my chart stuff here that we were talking about before in another spot …
I would love help navigating through what it means in a practical sense for each of my signs being in its respective planet .
I.e., from the information below combined with your definitions in the Woo-Woo Wednesday, what does that mean, in a sentence or two, for me?
I’ll put an example below.
Here’s what I have from my notes about my chart:
Sun – Leo (Fire)
Moon – Sagittarius (Fire)
Mercury – Leo (Fire)
Venus – Cancer (Water)
Mars – Libra (Air)
Jupiter – Scorpio (Water)
Saturn – Libra (Air)
Uranus – Sagittarius (Fire)
Neptune – Sagittarius (Fire)
Pluto – Libra (Air)
True Node – Cancer (Water)
Chiron – Taurus (Earth)
So – I’ll just pick a random one …
My Uranus is in Sagittarius. Sag is fire, as well as other things typical to that sign.
In your WWW, you said that Uranus is – “This is where you do you! It’s rebellious, unique, filled with innovation and pure genius if the sign it’s in likes all that shock value. At its most extreme, Uranus is how you pervert reality or create a revolution. For most, it’s how we honor our own brand of “weird.” It’s how we’re most free.”
So, how do I take what the definition of Uranus is from the WWW and apply it in words to me in Sagittarius?
Do I take the characteristics of the sign and generalize that that’s how I do “me?”
And so on, with each sign and planet?
I’m assuming that’s what you mean, but I just don’t know things well enough to put it into words.
Ugh, I feel like I’m totally rambling and not being coherent.

What does it mean when a sign is ruled by a planet?
For example, Libra is ruled by Venus.
How does this fit into everything?
Me again – last question (for now! haha) –
I need to find another sending emails/great communication day for the same reason as I needed above – emailing both old and prospective clients.
As I said above, I try and avoid sending important “see me” emails like this on Mondays and Fridays.
If it’s this week (which I would like it to be), Wednesday is out because it’s a void moon.
I see from my notes that tomorrow, the 22nd is great for this kind of stuff.
However, I don’t know if I’ll have something done in time that I need to send with the emails.
If I don’t, it’ll have to be Thursday.
Does that still sound like an okay day?

i’m so sorry i’m missing this month’s zoom again (and looks like i’ll miss next month’s too) on the live/hot seat side of things, but i’m learning so much from replay and maybe this will make my hotseat moment (in december, hopefully!) more informed. or not! whatever. it’s all good and i’m loving gathering together pieces and beginning this journey.
per your suggestion, Bonnie, i tried to note data over the month of october with our calendar. while not everything “sparkled” precisely on each day, some moments lined-up beautifully or i leaned into scheduling those moments and it worked pretty darn well. yay!
QUESTION FOR TODAY’s ZOOM
first of all — HAPPY 18,000 DAY BIRTHDAY, BONNIE! yay! i love counting in days. thank you for that!
background first: welp, as you say, with every expansion, there’s a contraction and golly! i’ve been feeling that hell out of that, probably since sunday evening (after what was an incredible day of creative work & editing!). i get in my bones so much now the value of surrender/it’s not in my control/have faith/it’s the process not the outcome/the universe will open up so long as i’m open & patient/joy & bliss now.
buuuttt — oooooh! freakin’ Wilma has found her way to the back door. (it’s locked but she’s standing out there and stressing me out! in my throat!) and i found myself freaking out that “outcomes” seem to be lost on me lately, i don’t seem to get any traction, i’m not working in a productive manner, etc. (i know, i know! cue up: your BonBlast today, too!)
so here’s my question: is this phenomenon more of a function of my psychology (contraction from all of the expansion) and/or is there something with the Leo moon in Libra coming up on Scorpio (oh my god, did i read that correctly?!), that leans into what i’m experiencing and gives me clues to how i can better handle the situation?
also — might we have any “promote/strut” days in november? even though i was feeling more or less like poop, i still did a Constance promote today. ahhhh!

Ooh, I was broadcasting my weekly BonBlast show when you wrote this, and was on pretty much right up ’til class time so I’m just now seeing it as I’m logging in to post the replay! Ack! So, no answer for you on the replay (but you’ll love it; very similar convo about how just hearing some of the things again helps with understanding, so we’ll keep doing all of that of course).
So, I think this is a combo of what the planets are doing and what YOU are doing. And then there’s the third factor which is how what you’re doing aligns with what the planets are doing and that’s why this is way more complex than just one or the other (or the other-other). 😉
Leo moon in Libra sun is all about looking good, feeling good, being proud and showy but involving others so no one feels left out. It’s delicious! 🙂 Scorpio sun brings in all the dark, intimate, deep secrets and money stuff (vs. Libra being all about fairness and beauty and equality), so THAT plus Leo could be a little intense because the showyness + intimacy is a bit of a discord. And then there’s also how YOUR sign feels in any of these conditions.
